Hey Andy , it’ll be a toss between the mini R50 supercharged and Citroen C5 I’m thinking of phasing them both out of the equation soon. Yep I’ve had three new impact. 3/8 low torque. 1/2 drive mid range torque. . 1/2 drive super torque that can apparently flip a mini on its’ roof The new jack is wider and sits very low. Which is great for stability and it has a slow release hydraulic. So the car won’t just come down too fast. I’d say you’re in your early 60’s is that correct
I finally got round to doing the clutch swap last week and got into some positions I never thought possible at my tender age😂. Thank you Kevin for this detailed video, without it I'd have been lost. Anyone else thinking of taking it on there's a lot to do before the clutch housing comes off but follow this step by step video and you too will achieve your goal 😊. Now where did that last bolt go 🔧

Hi, I've not done a fwd clutch before but feeling pretty confident after watching this, thanks! I'm replacing the clutch in a 1.3 Ignis, have you done one? Do you know if there are any differences, aside from the battery tray and a cable clutch?
Thanks for the detailed video! Got to do this on my girlfriends Suzuki this weekend on the “driveway”. Good to know I don’t have to move the subframe or anything! How many Nm was the torque on the pressure plate? Three ugga dugga’s and a sinch with a 1/2 inch? Perfect! 👌
Turns out the release fork was seized in its bushings so it was t releasing the clutch properly. Took it out, cleaned it and greased it. Put a new clutch in anyway. Wasn’t bad for on axle stands in the rain.
Hi Kevin! Very good straight to the point video. I was wondering if you remember where you bought the angle attachment for your impact gun and also the clutch plate holder you use?
Too bad you havent checked the rear main seal behind flywheel. Btw also how did you block the engine from spinning when you were torquing the bolts on clutch pressure plate?
Awesome work mate! Thanks for sharing, I’m replacing the clutch in my M16a, first time doing it so see how we go. What was the tool you used when putting the new clutch in, Cheers from New Zealand 🇳🇿
It's called a Laser Universal Alignment tool... Model 2646. About $30.00 US...It works on many models. No need for a Spline tool. That fits only one make or model...
Great video and looks straight forward to follow. I have to do our swift next week and just wondered how much gear oil did you top up with @51:40 Thanks in advance and keep up the great work 🙂

Awesome video ...... Hi just a question I got my daughters clutch replaced and the clutch pedal is still the same as it was before the replacement clutch kit went in, The pedal takes up about 3/4 of the travel up from the firewall and it starts to grab, and to me that doesn't feel right as it should take up about 2 inches off the ground ..Is the thrust bearing not adjusted properly or something else as the workshop said its correct the way it is ..Well i don't think so cause it another year it would be slipping again as there isn't enough free play to travel on the kit for adjustment ..Thank you
Hi Kevin, thinking of doing our Suzuki Liana hatch back.Just wondering about how long did it take you to do the job?.So I have an idea of how much a mechanic would take. And also if i did it im sure it would take 4times longer.Cheers.
It's great how you do this and video it all. Only question from me is what about using a torque wrench to correctly torque all the fixings. I don't see you doing this anywhere so how are you managing this?
Do you have to pay a core charge up front on them clutches first? Then return the old ones for credit back on them. Or do they even want the old ones back..Just wondering as I noticed you set up your work schedule for the week. In advance...
Hey Kev, I have recently changed my clutch on a Suzuki SX4 1.6 liter petrol, and now when I keep the clutch pedal pressed for a few seconds it hears from the gearbox like a whistle sound. Do you have any idea what's the reason? thanks, and all do respect for your work man❄️❄️❄️❄️
During this operation will you also touch the air conditioning compressor??? After the mechanic redid the clutch on this Swift model, I noticed the noisy air conditioning compressor during loading, audible especially in low gears. As soon as I turn off the A/C everything disappears.
Ac compresor is on the other side, no need to touch it for this job. Maybe what you hear is the ac belt tensioner bearing. I change it with every belt change they don't last more.
Hey kev have you ever done a clutch on semi automatic 2010 pug 3008 diesel? It's got a normal single clutch. I got one in and the book is telling me to remove the engine.

For this car, can leaking oil from gearbox cause clutch not to release fully or not engage into first gear?
Most likely a worn pressure plate or clutch cable
