In 1967, The Ford Factory that produced the Country Squire Faux Woodie Station Wagon, got a single order from one of its dealerships for a Special Wagon, with the Ford 428 ci Motor, backed by a 4 speed manual transmission, bucket seats, and a console around the manual shifter! The Factory had to send it to upper management, but, a Vice President approved it, and the factory built the car!
There are at least two Aston Martin Lagonda shooting breaks/estates.. 😎 A truely impressive technical tour de force. The original luxuary saloon being designed by William Towns. Theres also a long tradition of custom coach conversions of some Jaguars..
It’s a “Shooting Break “, technically, but often considered an “Estate”, or “station wagon “. Scimitar Reliant GTE, And Volvo P-1800 “Break”. BMW Z3 “coupe “ is technically a “Break “. The Chevrolet NOMAD [ 1955-1957] is a Shooting Brake [ different from the (regular) Chevy Wagons.]. So, a Coupe-Wagon of sorts, or a very sporty wagon. 🚗😁
At first I thought it was a Jensen Interceptor
...or a Reliant Scimitar...
Or an Iso Grifo??
@@svenlabots1869 Nice
@@david.m.304 Ooooo That looks nice never heard of them before.....
A very good looking, yet costly vehicle.
However, she delivered a great deal of value.
Thank you for this excellent vídeo.
Looks abit like John Dodds ‘The Beast’
Great to hear about another uber unusual car!
The upsweep to the rear window is somewhat similar to that of the Reliant Scimitar GTE relaesed in 1968.
The red car shown very briefly towards the end of the video IS a Scimitar!
Yeah, the whole car looks like it could have been the Reliant GTE.
🚗🙂

The Ford 429 ci motor wasn't made for the Thunderbird. It was a Ford Racing motor, homologated in the Torino Cobra & the Boss 429 Mustang.
Looks a LOT like a RELIANT SCIMITAR GTE. 🚗😮
❤❤❤❤❤❤
It's a coupe right? So not a station wagon. Perhaps the Jeep eagle wagon is more what you were thinking

@jeffking4176 fascinating. I've never heard such slang. Estate cars sure, but a break? Must have fallen out of usage.
3:29. That's not even close to a live axle. 4:20. Again, that's not even close to a live axle.
It's an 'estate'. It is not a wagon like in the USA.
Intelli-Car is a garbage channel.
This video is trash. Just move on.
Thank you for covering such a unique and fascinating automobile. Great channel!
Glad you enjoy it!☺️

A typing error.
Ir you ain't got nothing good to say, don't say nothing to nobody!
It's ugly in my opinion.
Woah that's a rare car, never heard of it
