Gothic Basin Trail Hike Overview

Gothic Basin Trail in Granite Falls, WA is a hard 11 mile hike. It’s approximately 3300 feet of elevation gain with lots of steep rocks and tree roots to walk over. I originally planned to take my kids there to camp one night but after doing it twice now I wouldn’t recommend it for kids under 12 unless they have lots of hiking miles under their feet. Gothic Basin reminds me of a mini Enchantments hike and next time we plan to hike up to Del Campo Peak. Hiked on September 1, 2021
