Climbing Gothic Peak - A fun Beginner Scramble

Gothic peak is a class 3 scramble along the Mountain loop highway. Taking the gothic basin trail up to the basin gives access to amazing scrambling and beautiful alpine views(unless the clouds have different ideas). Really fun beginner scramble, gear and expertise advised.

Summit register PVC tube. It's kinda hit or miss which peaks have registers up here. Sometimes really remote ones will have them, while popular climbing objectives won't. You never really know. I always consider it a fun bonus whenever I climb and find a register!
