- RIMOWA the luxury luggage. Watch this video before you buy another luggage another | Pros & Cons on RIMOWA Luggage/ suitcase. In this video I am sharing my thoughts on the RIMOWA luggage. I have 5 different sizes of RIMOWA.
Bigger Silver one- Topas ; Dimension 73cm x 48cm x 27.5cm (82 litres). This RIMOWA ALUMINIUM TOPAS check-in luggage is over 10 year old, its made with Aluminium.
Pros: the opening/lock is secure, looks amazing, robust wheels, well made and sturdy.
Cons: expensive, dents and scratch easily, heavy.
Smaller Silver one- Flight, Cabin size, Manufactum Edition; Dimension: 52cm x 36cm x 23.5cm (39litres)
Pros: the opening/lock is secure, looks amazing, robust wheels, well made and sturdy.
Cons: In some airlines, there is a weight limit of 7kg or 10kg on carry on cabin luggage, then this cabin suitcase by itself is weighted is already 3.5kg, won't be able to fit much under the limits.
Big red luggage: Salsa Deluxe, Dimension 64cm x 43cm x 27.5cm (60 litres). This RIMOWA luggage is made with Polycarbonate.
Pros: its light weight, Secure even with the zip; Double Zipping its unable to poke it opens with a sharp objects. String wheels, Hard to damage / dent / scratch, it can easily wipe it clean.
Cons: can be broken by heavy force or crack, not as secure as the Aluminum suitcase, expensive.
Small red check-in luggage: RIMOWA Salsa Deluxe, cabin size;
Dimension 54cm x 38cm x 21.5cm (32 litres)
Pros: good looking and very stylish, lighter than the aluminum, strong wheels.
Cons: not the lightest check in luggage , if there is a weight limit of 7/10kg, then its not ideal. (samsonite cosmolite is lighter)
The mini RIMOWA clutch , cute little vanity clutch to carry in the luggage.
Overall all RIMOWA has the comment advantages:
RIMOWA luggage have double bars, instead of T-bar. Double bar advantage; when you are pulling the luggage, it sturdier. As I have used T -bar in the past, it tilted side to side when turning.
-RIMOWA wheels are very strong, after 10 years of multiple travels each year. The Wheels are still going very strong, nothing falling apart or not rotating. Their wheels can turn 360 degrees. As I have Delsey and Samsonite, the RIMOWA wheels are more robust.

Have you ever had a problem with the Cabin for carry on?
I have a Cabin Plus but have had problems carry on
I'm deciding between buying a Cabin or Cabin S to become my main carry on - it'll have to work internationally as well
With the two Cabins, no problem on the plane. It fits well in the overhead cabinet.

My brand new rimowa polycarbonate trunk plus cracked after 1 use 😢 there was a small crack right next to the top handle… I took it to the store and they exchanged for a new one for free because it was considered a defect! Rimowa customer service is no joke!
👍 lifetime warranty for all the new ones, so I m keeping all my receipts inside the luggage 😆

Very expensive luggage and still gets scratched and dented. People like dented luggage I don't. Spend that kind of money it should not scratch or dented. When you buy a new car and travel do you like dents showing that you traveled.

According to usage so far, the most comfortable suitcase made of aluminum or plycarbonate suitcase?
I like the polycarbonate because it’s light 😊
I would only buy Rimowa or Away luggage in aluminium.
