Umpire: “Here’s how my strike zone works - if the Stros pitchers throw the ball that isn’t completely inside the strike zone then it’s a ball! If the Mets pitchers throw the ball anywhere within 6 inches of the strike zone then it’s a strike! That is how I roll! Got it?”
Conclusion: Get a damn machine to call strikes and balls so that these crooked umpires can’t cheat and can’t influence which team wins and which team loses! Machines are consistent unlike humans! And they don’t cheat unlike crooked humans!

Blanco seemed off from the word go. He'll make a comeback
Na! The ump consistently shrunk the strike zone when Blanco and his teammates were pitching and then increased the strike zone when the Stros were hitting! It’s extremely hard to win when the ump cheats like that! The playing field was extremely tilted against the Astros from the get go! You could see some of the pitches he called as strikes on the Astros hitters were 5” to 7” off the plate and then he called a couple of dozens pitchers that got a piece of the plate as balls when the Mets were hitting! This is the part of the game that I hate the most about baseball! The umps are intentionally allowed to cheat when we have the technology to use machines to call strikes and balls that are consistent and fair for every player and team! There’s no excuse to use biased, corrupt human beings to call strikes and balls when a better way is available to us!
@grandwonder5858 how can the umps be cheaters, but it's completely impossible that the MLB is fixing games? The logic is almost completely the same, yet we can't go that far... why? If the MLB isn't fixing games, the umps aren't cheating. It's one in the same.

Dubon has always been absolutely terrible with RISP. always grounds or pops out. They need to trade him I think. I dont remember the last time I saw him do anything clutch. maybe when we are up he will get on base with no one on. but i dont remember the last time i saw him get anyone in, especially in a high tension situation.
