INCREDIBLE comeback win. It would be a little foolish to think they could sweep one of the hottest teams in baseball, in the road especially, so taking 2 of 3 if they can come through tomorrow is exactly what you want. Keep winning series. The standings will take care of itself if you do that.
Don't get your hopes up on tomorrow. No starter available so bullpen game and Framber having another meltdown today made them go to the pen sooner than they would've liked so long story short tomorrow's pitching plan is gonna be verrrrrry interesting

Why hasn't Valdez learned to stop trying to make the out at home instead of at 1st? Every time, it's an error and turns into multiple runs.
Because he has psychological issues when it comes to split-second decision-making.
It's a really bad combination of overconfidence and lack of fielding skill.
There's nothing to do about it other than pray he doesn't do it during a big game.

Man I'm so over Framber's inconsistency. If he's hitting 97+ you already know he's going to be horrible. Great to see the team come back to win it though, the Mets were like 200% hyped to beat the Astros last game, but this team got their mojo back and so they don't give up that easy.
Looking at advanced analytics, it's a really bad combination of poor ball placement and decision-making.
