Great comparison! The flycam footage really does look like it's from a 3-axis gimbal when compared to the handheld and shoulder rig.

Great Video! What focal length did you use on the flycam and did you stabilize a bit in post?

Thanks, I used 18mm (x 1.5 crop factor). No it isn't stabilized in post, only lens OSS stabilization was used.

The complacency in the comments is amazing. I dislike all three shots. The jerkiness in the footage is horrendous.

I think the idea here was to NOT add any assistance to the stabilization to show what the equipment is doing un aided by not walking in a specific way etc. For me the goal isn't how smooth I can get the shot although smoothness is a factor no one wants jarring movement, but it's fatigue that is the killer for me. I want a system that I can use for long periods of time and a gimbal on it's own gets very heavy very fast.
