We’ve already started and it’s so hot out here and for two hours it’s a bunch of running, weight lifting, and hitting. But I try my best and love the hitting
Navy seals...many countries have a team of their own who are prepared for underwater demolition...their hardest part? hell week, less than 4 hours of sleep, a lot of running and presure...and what do we see here? some random athletes who had slept for more than 12 hours if they wished to and later the same day may as weel go to mcdonalds for a cool milkshake. Seriously now? And you document this? You actually show this to your people?
Not picking sides because I’ve played both soccer and I’m currently playing football and the differences are large and saying one is superior than the other in one category is imbecilic. In soccer, the fatigue is mostly in your legs and hips, and you have to be exceptionally conditioned in a game to be able to run and sprint while maneuvering a ball for the whole game. Football, in my position, is more physically and mentally exhausting. It’s constant hitting, shoving, getting laid out, and laying someone else out. Football is muscle and mind. Reacting and adapting in a militaristic style almost. The coaches in soccer are always more forgiving in my stance. Mess up? Try harder. Can’t run fast enough? Just jog. Football. Football coaches are tough. Mess up? Gimme 3 Forties and everyone has 20 updowns. Can’t sprint all your forties? You get more forties. From what I remember, there weren’t really plays per se in soccer. It’s mostly adapting and teamwork. Football is mentally exhaustive. You have to receive the play, make a strong call on defense, might have to call a TE. Read the TE if you’re blitzing. Is all complicated. But saying one is flat out harder than the other is idiotic.
they didn't document most of the conditioning. first half of the two a days was a two hour conditioning practice, no ball. we were also expected to train on our own. tryouts had a two mile run but that was never practiced together because it'd just be a waste of time.
many great athletes started playing their sport in high school. if you work hard anything is possible. don't make an excuse for not going after a dream
It's alright, you never know how much you can improve. I began running summer track in USATF eighth grade and I placed 6th or 7th in the state at the end of the season
for our hell week for football we had to run 2 sets of 100 yard suicides, so like 0 to 5 and then back to 0 then all the way to 10 and so on. This ain't shit.
༼ つ ◕_◕ ༽つHOWDAREYOUDOTHISTOME I played for this team. We only ran. doesn't matter what this shows. Mornings we ran two hours straight. Afternoons we played.

Don't get me wrong, it's a vigorous sport that requires great conditioning, I learned that the hard way. But you still get to go home and be awake at a normal time compared to football where you're at a camp and in some respects, shut off from the rest of the world.
this ain't hell week my soccer hell week in high school is traveling to a college and training all day basically this how the day went Starting from one edge of the pitch run around the pitch twice and that counts as 1 and do that 20 more times to get 10 then a 2 and a half min break to get water and stretch out cramps then shooting practice oh by the way that was the stretch/warmup so we also had to shoot 20 shots and make at least 15 everyone would have to do that if one person missed the whole 20 times around the field thing again we used to get mad because there was always this one kid that missed on like the 10th shot and everyone else was basically fine with like 15 or 16 but this one kid would always miss i don't know his name because he isn't on the team anymore. Then control if one person miss controlled the ball this time 25 laps this was the point where people started hurting a little bit because we are very conditioned but practice would usually be coming to a close and we would just be shooting shots and talking. After we did the 25 times around the field we did pass practice if one pass was to short we would do 10 laps because the coach said that passes are hard for anyone let alone a whole team to do it perfectly so this was kind of a "break" after this we would get a water and stretch break reaching this point was about 6 hours into practices basically only about 1 o clock still a while to go then we hit up the college weight room where we did dead lifts, bench press, squats, pull ups,30 sec interval sprints, cones and general gym things. after 5 hours in the weight room we had about 3 hours left because we were schedules to end practiced at 8 o clock then my coach does something she always does and challenges us to a penalty shootout and if we won for the last exercise that we always do but since its hell week goes from 10 times around the field to 25 we would only have to do 13 this was a huge deal to us because at this point we were dead, throwing up,legs shaking, arms shaking and we always loss because my coach was a semi pro so she basically was a always beat us so we had to run 25 and that was the longest run of my life even though she was making us run are hardest it seemed like time was going super slow but after we did this everyone was lying n the ground dead and for the last 30 mins-1hour we were stretching and talking about or game plan for the playoffs and we repeated this whole process over and over 7 times even the weekend yes people that is why its called hell WEEK not hell 5 days The good thing was we got the dorms the college had because it was open dorms because spring break and we got a new mattress and sheets and best rooms ever also we made it to the finals of the playoff but lost 3-2
