- On June 17th, 2023, Ohio officers swiftly responded to a bar's parking lot call about an intoxicated woman causing a disturbance. She resisted arrest, creating chaos, and was eventually detained. Despite her disruptive behavior, the unfolding events revealed additional challenges, including demands to be taken home. Legal repercussions ensued, with the woman pleading guilty to disorderly conduct and receiving a $100 fine.

Might have saved somebody's life. That was a good move.
He also kept her from getting a DUI charge. If she was just sitting in the driver’s seat (like she was) with the keys, that’s being physically in control of the vehicle.
Some people just shouldn't drink.

Darlin’, how dare an officer save the public from a drunk driver and you from a DUI. He protecting the public, and she fails to realize he’s protecting her from herself. People love to talk themselves into jail. I’m assuming that’s what happens here I haven’t watched whole video yet.

How do you know they were giving it directly to her? She could have gone round scabbing the ones people leave behind ir guys could have been buying her ones so the staff never saw her.

@@mpmb8885 By law in most jurisdictions, bartenders are supposed to limit how much alcohol they serve to patrons. This hammered Karen is a prime example as to why such laws exist in many jurisdictions. Failure to heed such laws can open a bartender to severe criminal & civil penalties. The establishment can also face severe civil penalties courtesy of a lawsuit & rightfully so if it fails to train its bartending staff when to cut off service to overly-intoxicated patrons. There was an incident in TX involving a drunk driver ramming into & killing an off-duty TX police officer in the Fort Lake area just over a year ago. The driver fled on foot but was tackled & pinned by a bystander until police arrived to arrest him for OWI & vehicular homicide alongside other serious charges. It was later found that the subject had been drinking at a nearby bar/restaurant which failed to cut him off when he became overly intoxicated - resulting in the arrest of the bartender & subjecting the bar itself to lawsuits. @@scottjohnson7877 You missed my point entirely - the bar may not have been serving her drinks. She could have gotten other people to buy them for her, she could have been drinking drinks people left behind,creepy dudes ,at have been buying her drinks to try hook up with her, that was my point.
@@mpmb8885 That's no excuse period. A very extremely unlikely scenario on top of that. Stop making excuses for criminal behavior. This Karen could have killed someone had another patron not stepped in & took her keys away which likely saved countless lives.
