11:26 Hope The Lego Group realizes that this should be the future of constraction. Mecha build with inner frames made from bricks and technic parts with ball joint and/or hinge joint articulation. Basically Gundam, but with LEGO (aka Neo-Exo-Force).

Ben, there's no way that one image of the Lambda V3 in that super cool pose is not PhotoShopped.
While I have no doubt with all the pistons and double joints that it could hold a pose on one leg, with the angle of everything here, the center of gravity is just too far off from that right leg. It's not physically possible for everything to remain on that leg, which isn't even fully touching the ground, unless there was something attached to the foot itself screwed down into the table, and an armature running up the back of the leg to the back of the character. It's a really good edit though, I'm having a hard time spotting where the stand was, there's something a little suspicious on the edge darkest shado below, but an otherwise flawless edit. The only other way to get a pose like this in frame without a stand is to have a timed high speed shutter taking multiple images sequentially, and you just let the build hover for half a second as you let it go and gravity take over. For that fraction of a second, you might be able to get an image with little post-production necessary. However, the image just seems too clear, you'd have to have the brightest lighting setup ever to still have a decent ISO to avoid grain, and to get the shot, unless you were lucky, it would take multiple passes, and I don't think anyone's crazy enough to drop a MOC this complex and repair it that many times, not even me.

That one leg slanted pose is definitely photoshopped. A lot of mocists utilize photoshop for creative shots so as to not have visible stands behind to moc to clutter the view. Thats why you always see them posed in monotone background, easier to edit and look good. They probably take pictures of the empty background and the one with the moc and the stand then erase the stand layer to leave the moc with a clear background, making sure that the camera doesnt move between the two shots.

Its been a few years but I want to get back into mocing and during my break I've picked up gunpla as a hobby and I'm thinking of borrowing techniques used in Gundam kits and maybe even trying to recreate a Gundam frame in lego

Heck yeah, great idea, I'm sure you'll learn lots from Gunpla when applying it to Bionicle :)
