Unfortunately, this channel has been demonetized by UA-cam for the third time and therefore the Game Movie Vault has been closed. It was fun for over 10 years but I can no longer afford to spend the time to make these videos without being reimbursed by UA-cam. I have started a second channel that focuses on Diablo 4 and I am thinking of starting another separate Game Lore channel very soon.

Not gonna lie as much as people hated this game I loved it. I loved sneaking around the vampires and once you got the knife which kill vampire instantly it was so much fun. The multi-player was alright but I got bored fast. I beat the story so many times.
I think the only reason people hated it is because how difficult it was me and all my friends loved it because it was like a splinter cell game but with vampires most people just try to kill every zombie they can and that's not how this game works
@@liftedlegend710 Yeah I know what you mean. Most of my rage quits came from glitches and the like. Though the game definitely succeeds in conveying the OP nature of the vampires in this portrayal. Especially considering how the original mission in the game was a surgical strike on a single vampire.

My impression was that he was bitten by one of Charles’s minions. When a Prime Walker is killed, all of its spawn die along with it, so killing Charles meant the end for Harrison.
Hated that he died and Hanson.
Honestly, I believe vampire rain is an awesome concept. After reviewing this video I understood the vision the developers had in mind. They intended to create paranoia. They tried to draw inspiration from the unsettling atmosphere from siren blood curse with the hopes of creating the same suspenseful survival horror game. It's apparent in the episodic presentation and chilling ambiance. What made Siren blood curse so great was suspense. This was due to the fact that playable characters were venerable most the time because the enemy had a significant advantage over the player just like the nightwalkers have a huge advantage over the players in Vampire Rain.
Hypothetically speaking, they'd be able to make a technical advanced version of vampire rain if they gave the concept another chance. Take Alien isolation and prey as an example. The most suspenseful game which was due to good stealth mechanics, good gameplay and unpredictable AI.
I know it's unlikely for vampire rain to make a come back but, it's something one could ever dream of.
I don't hardly agree with you and I think this game's concept is truly amazing I wish they would make some sort of a sequel or remake this game even that'd be great although I do have one complaint and the fact is that the night walkers on here really just truly are so strong I still believe they should maintain an advantage over the player otherwise just becomes just another boring shooter game but at the same exact time I do think that once you messed up it shouldn't have been just instant death.

This game is a hidden gem. Bad gameplay, but amazing atmosphere and tension building.

I hope we may get a remake of this game someday in the foreseeable future, as trash it may be the vamps are downright horrifying, especially that lady one at the start with those bone-chilling cries and the jaw widening and showing a traditional full set of nasty sharp teeth

@@psychshift The opening cutscene where a blonde waitress walking home late at night in L.A., when footsteps crunches atop a broken glass behind her, she runs into dark alley, huddles in fear, and she looks up at a vampire disguised as a biker, he fangs, and he strikes her, led to the title sequence.
If you stop before the strike, you can see it's Edward who attacks her.

Agreed. Everybody is dissing this game in the comments but as a kid when i played this it scared the shit out of me and i enjoyed this game over and over countless of times.. god i felt like i was IN the game when i played it.. it needs a remastered but we will never get one i feel sadly..

I played this when I was really young so there's a type of nostalgia for it despite it being so shit. It's a shame because If the gameplay and production was any good it might have been a pretty decent game. Additionally the story ( lorewise) would have been cool to learn about.

This is the longest game i've seen wtih rain in 1 night jesus.
they should do a reboot for this game but make it a lot more challenging to play considering Vampires are more fast, strong, stealthy, blood thirsty. more importantly it should be a lot more like RE4 & MGS 5 because there should be more locations in the town to fight Vampires and rescue Civilians.

We wish. These aren't actual vampires, but "nightwalkers." No bats, no bloodsucking, not even cringe-worthy romances. Just growling men who run stupid-fast and kill the players in two hits, and by that I mean one hit since first strike stuns the player for so long a second hit can be made by the same guy anyway.
@@Ohflipsnap it would have been interesting to keep the vamps like hard as fuck to fight to encourage clever tactics, of course you're gonna lose if you fight them on their terms but what if you used traps or ambushes it could have been cool but all we got was this derivative garbage, nightwalkers looked cool at least

the original xbox 360 game audio and scenes weren't as bad as Altered Species... this was a fanatic concept a great game that i enjoyed but need more metal gear elements and a non episodic format would have been better or using the van as a hub before starting the missions. awesome edit bud.

late response, but its because the city is slowly being infected with Vampires, meaning not everyone is a Vampire so they still have to keep a low profile and uncover agents. But its too late which is why you're the undercover team meant to kill the Vampires and their leaders.
