Simple and Tasty Cabbage Rice Recipe. Quick Lunch Box Recipe
Ingredients:
Cabbage - 2 cup thin sliced
Onion - 1/4 cup thin sliced
Garlic - 1tbsp finely chopped
Green chilli - 2 slit
Curry leaves - 1 sprig
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal - 1/2 tsp
Chana dal - 1/2 tsp
Oil - 2-3 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Lemon juice - 1 -2tsp
Cook rice
Raw rice - 1 cup
Salt - 1tsp
Oil - 1 tsp
Water - 2 cup

I always boil rice with salt , oil and turmeric when making such variations of tempered rice and I also add some Priya pickle for added flavour. Tomato, red chilly pickles of that brand work the best.
