@@RealSatanHere He sucks at every god damn boss, the only one he did kill somewhat easy was Misterio and that is because at that level of difficulty Mysterio is the easiest but this person has the reflexes and coordination of a paraplegic cat with severe case of arthritis.

Just watching the final 'escape' mission brings back that feeling of anxiety, specifically the fear of accidentally attaching to the wall and 'Monster Ock' catching you 😂

Seeing Captain America, Punisher, Daredevil and Spider Man playing cards together at the end was such a cool scene. Glad that we can finally have all these characters on the same screen together again.

I don’t get why the other Spider-Man games don’t incorporate Venom’s ability to turn invisible. I think this is the only game that does.

22:15 Here's a tip: You can use your web to lock carnage in the sound field area until it resets. Of course, it will cost a lot of webbing on higher difficulties, but it is possible.

Its also easier to just press the Triangle button every once in a while (like max 3 before he leaves but after the bubble resets) ro do a single web string to hold him for the whole fight. This is how I do it to do no work on Hard using the normal suit.

When games where really created with real deep writing and precision. This was absolutely great about details of fights and webs, also buildings.
Considering the limitations of the ps1, this was a great game
Ok this is one of my favourite games ever but this does not qualify as "deep writing"
The last boss level still gives me anxiety, every time he clings to the walls I can still feel my body tense up, how the hell did I finish this game when I was a kid? this and resident evil3 kid me had balls, why did I grow up to be such a wuss adult xD

The “everything” cheat code - which resulted in unlocking every last costume, stage and comic book collectible - is Eel Nats (Stan Lee, backwards). While playing this growing up, I always put that in and play different stages using different costumes of Spidey. It was fun experimenting which costume was my favorite and least favorite
Did the different costumes have different abilities or just aesthetics?

@@Ami-ut2us they had different abilities. Like the future spiderman costume you could turn invisible, the symbiote had unlimited webs, Captain universe you were invulnerable. I forgot the others
They really need to remake this game. Absolutely amazing childhood game.
I loved this game as a kid. I only really played it on N64 though so I never really got to enjoy the cutscenes. Really awesome to be able to watch them all as an adult

Old comment I apologize. But technically the alley is surrounded by tall buildings so that little gap where the fight takes place can't possibly be surrounded by the fog.

That's an alley? I always thought it was a small room with an open roof or something. Now that I think about it it makes complete sense since there's also a manhole.
I heard that the gas is just make up thing because of technology limitation at the time. The development couldn't make streets, traffic etc until spiderman 2 enter electro

Miss this game. Used to always play this over and over. Frustrating how you couldn’t touch the ground but it made it what it was. All the boss fights were amazing. Wish they remade it

I was like 7 years old when I played this but I remember that final boss. I replayed the game recently on an emulator and I have no idea how I managed back then lol.
The Doc Ock fight still to this day blows my mind with how ambitious it was and Innovative with boss mechanics

Yeah monster / carnage ock has very fast acceleration at an alarming rate making it a challenge to actually beat it but when you beat it it always gives you self worth of defeating it and you feel the dopamine going through you

Monster Ock was my first nightmare. Monstrous, wild, and the only villain in this game that Spider-Man didn't fight.
The Mysterio boss fight is definitely the toughest one on Hard difficulty.
The only toughest thing in hard mode is that stupid water tunnel
On that i agree, the second place for me was venom 2nd encounter and third place was carnage (considering the use of the default suit during the boss fights)
