I like how people from Kenya are trilingual & casually switch up the languages mid sentence in conversation 😂.
I am just in the zone!
Never looked at it that way! We switch without 🤔thinking 🤔
That’s what we do😃
Take me for example I can switch between Somali, borana, kiswahili, and English... And some Kikuyu!!
@@hassangingi7033 we are just a special people...I love us Kenyans ..So peculiar
This was quite good content. To grow your subscriber base you need this kind of stuff. Interviews don't keep people glued for so long but I had to watch every minute of this.
heard!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Exactly love her random videos.literally watched every minute of them
I love the effort you put into your videos, seeing you walk barefooted, dirt on your jeans enjoying the motherland was inspiring I hope more African American move to Africa and reconnect with their past
It's a beautiful thing! Thanks for enjoying!
You've become such a chill person, fully intergrating yourself in the Kenyan culture. Loving the content
I have really stayed the same I think that vlogs just allowed my personality to come out a little bit more!
Remember I use to watch you from south Africa but now watching you from kenya 😊 it feels so nice to be in this nice weather. This video is actually the best and I can tell you are becoming a real kenyan girl, welcome home. Hope to meet you in the streets. Lovely video 💥👏
Pull up on me!!!! LOL thanks for the love, friend!
Brittney, this video is so relaxing. Love the farm, the animals and the scenery. Your friend and his relatives seem to be very nice people. Also loved the editing. Good job 👍🏽
Thanks for noticing! Editing is so hard!
This is the chillest American gal in motherland! We love you ,cousin, Brittney. I swear you are the vibe!
I love me some Brittney ❤️
@@lydiamarendes7554 mee too
I love you all backkkkkkkk!
Nice , I miss that kind of environment, we would go to murang’a when I was in elementary and high school, that was about 25 years ago. 20 years in America I miss that
Way to go Brittney. I’ve been enjoying your videos all the way from Toronto Canada. You’re such a vibe. This video was awesome.
Thank you so much!! We vibinggggg!
My girl @BrittanyinAfrica is a whole vibe 💥❤❤. This is funny and informative. You are a brave soul. Let's keep growing her community. Keep uploading gir!! This is awesome.
I like this...Murang'a is home..growing up doing home chores like fetching water all the way from the river like five times a day was no easy task at all...
Brittney I love every bit of this vlog. Love the mumma explaining the family photos. Made me miss my family back in South Africa. Will definitely do family photos when I get back to South Africa. Love the Ubuntu ( kindness) of your friend and his family 🥰🥰🥰🥰
She was my favorite part! For sure!
Wow Brittney! This has to be one of your best videos yet. It was very educational. You kept it authentic and seemed to be enjoying the clean fresh air and farm vibe
Thank you so much, I appreciate the support!
Yo! Brittany I’m so done! I literally laughed so hard! Like crying laughing for real! Auntie straight play way too many games trapping you in the coop. Lol She is hilarious! But I’m proud you were able to catch the chicken 🐓! I’m so glad you had a great experience at the farm. I’m obsessed with your content I literally don’t miss any of your videos! Peace and love from NJ, USA!
I thought it was locked and later realized she had her hand on the door! Thanks for watching, my love!
@@BrittneyCaldwell Hilarious. But don't you think your granma was holding the door to keep the chicken in?
I love seeing you enjoy yourself in so many settings. You are so caring with people and elders.

Will do!!
I am happy for you that you get to experience this kind of life. Country life is everything.
It is definitely a vibeeeeee!
Britney, now that's Kenya to you. And the best person to best guide who've lived in USA. That's how you'll know Kenya by visiting different regions and tribes. Welcome to Kenya.
Wow, thank you!
@@BrittneyCaldwell Best way to get an introduction to Kenya for an American is meet people who studied or lived in the US. You get the nuances that may escape you with people who are not very well aware of the culture that you come from.
Fantastic episode really enjoyed your love and appreciation for what you were experienced 😊
Thanks for watching!

Lovely video, take her word seriously, when she says you're welcome even without their company, she means it...just surprise her any day.
I definitely plan on it, seriously!
I love the idea of you having a farm, Brit.
I love it for myself too!
Thanks for sharing your trip around the farm with us!
Also kudos on successfully catching the chicken.. I think if I tried to catch a chicken or hold a piglet we'd be both scared of each other and much confusion would ensue 🤣
😂😂😂😂😂🔥
The start of the vlog is everything, that was really funny 😂😂😂. You did well to catch yourself some dinner. Shout out to Murang'a county, my home county as well. Brittney that's the typical rural homestead for every Kikuyu family and frankly most Kenyan rural homes where agriculture is the main activity. That farm is busy, they've got a lot going on and you can tell they take farm production seriously. This brought back childhood and teenage memories everytime I visited my rural home for December holidays. It's good that you took us out on a limb to a different experience. Every other day your journey to Kenyanisation nears completion 😂😂😂.
The ' initiation' is taking shape so well. I loved it when she removed her shoes and walked barefoot. She's a Kenyan sister
She's really gotten Kenyanised and she embraces it quite well. I'm pleasantly surprised.
We are about to claim her as ours!
i’m waiting on you to invite me over for dinner!!!!!!
@@BrittneyCaldwell you got it girl 😁😁😁

Memories are made of this!

God bless you back!!!!
B😘 that's the road I used to travel to my village the video was amazing
Thanks for enjoyinggggg
Amazing!!! I love this ❤️ A real shagz experience 🙂
Shagzzzzz!
Shagz in colloquial (sheng) language means rural home. Not what you think 😂😂😂
I'm so proud of you. You were with every bit of it. I judged you and thought you would be outside of your element. But you go girl.😊
Thank you!!!!
I enjoyed the video.
New subscriber here from USA 🇺🇸 Georgia.🙂

Thanks babe!!!
I really enjoyed this vlog
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Awesome video. My grandma's farm in Murang'a county as well is more steep you go down hill either sideways or in reverse. PS: Due to the topography of Murang'a county most residents have very hard calves.
i have hard calves 😂😂😂😂
@@BrittneyCaldwell is NC hilly too? Or you just love your heels 🤣🤣
I love how the dog just tagged along and followed them everywhere

Really want to see Kikuyu farms visit Muranga and Nyeri....away from the Nairobi vasinity...preferably Muriranjas Muranga my parents original home ground....just make sure you have a certain level of fitness..this is a hilly environment..love the vid..
Im fit LOL. I need to stop vaping though.
@@BrittneyCaldwell oh my all those vap chemicals into your blood stream. You are better smoking weed ( ok bhang in Kenya...did it twice as a teen when I was there..KILLER) stick to 🍺
They forgot to mention that every kenyan village has that type of dog, this video was awesome
What's it called? ahaha
I don't know what breed they are, but most common names are simba, bosco, Scooby & blackie lol

😂😂😂omg that was funny seeing you in the chicken coop
Terrifying!
On Nairobi being cold, try visiting Londiani in the Rift Valley or Uplands in Kikuyuland and spend a night there. You'll tell us about your experience once the ice melts off your face 😆
not polar ice capsssssssss LOL
🤣🤣
Sista Ma'am!!! What did you say your Kenyan name is? This was such a vibe!!! I'm so proud of you and how open you are to learning!!! Umetoka mbali (you've come a long way, literally). Take care and keep enchanting us. Btw, where was Simone on this vlog?

Britney, You are one of a kind. The rate at which you are reconnecting with your identity is amazing.Keep refusing American foods around and focus on the locals.

I laughed so hard when you asked if chicken bite 😂😂😂. Anyway, this is a lovely video, Brittney. Enjoy Kenya rural. I grew up cracking macadamia shell with my teeth, not stone 😂
