It all makes sense. The world serpent was created by Atreus. He grew massively, fought in Ragnarok, and got hit with Thor’s hammer and sent back in time. Mimir told this story in the 2018 version, then it happened in the god of war Ragnarok.

I recently replayed god of war and ragnarok and I feel the main themes I see is, in the first one accepting your past and all the mistakes you made and trying to be better, and in ragnarock is after being better, fixing the problems you caused, and while nothing will ever go back to the way it was, you can make things better, no matter how small the change. I really noticed this when you do mimir's favours in svaftalfheim

The more I listen to this, the more I realise my old man trained me the way Kratos did to Atreus, not the killing ways but the discipline or strictly parenting like him. Me and my father don't see eyes to eyes but these days, his way helps a lot. I love you dad.
