Pony Penning on Chincoteague

Documentary about the Chincoteague Pony Penning Day, which began in 1924 when the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company first rounded up ponies on Assateague Island to auction off in order to raise money for fire equipment. Produced in 1955. State Records Film Collection, Accession 43563.
