@ifeanyiugwuanyi6007 Warri airport no longer function for full flight. It is only now used by some helicopter firms. But the airport is still there in Airport road Warri. The airport in this video is Osubi Airport in Okpe, and not Warri Airport. The person that made the video is not from Delta so probably ignorant of the difference between Warri and Osubi. Not only the person but several other people are ignorant as well
It doesn't matter where the airport is located. You're bringing destructive tribal sentiment into the nomenclature. The airport is serving Warri metropolis which encompasses Osubi, Effurun, Aladja, Enerhe, Ekpan, etc. That's why it's referred to as Warri airports. All are within the Warri metropolitan area. The airport is meaningless without Warri. For example, a passenger flying into the airport from outside the state is not coming to Osubi perse but to Warri. There's no Osubi airport without Warri. So please grow man, and cut out that tribalistic rant. Makes no sense in modern day Nigeria.

Following the exit of shell, it was taken over by a company called shoreline which had some issues with the FAAN that lead to the closure of the airport. After the closure, we heard that the airport was taken over by the federal government. Can you help confirm that?
many Nigerian may wonder why flights from airports mainly go to Lagos,Abuja or occasionally Kano and Port Harcourt, well that bc these cities are the main aviation hub for Nigeria's emerging Aviation market, maybe in the near future when the market is stronger and more demands that inter cities would be popular.
How will say that Warri is the biggest in delta state despite Warri housing the refinery and seaport of which both of them have grounded pls no way you can compare both cities today asaba is far more developed than Warri looking at Warri how many good houses are there? Pls asaba is far better than Warri

This is Osubi Airport, which is located in Okpe LGA of Delta state. Okpe and Effurun are all in Delta Central, while Warri town is in Delta South. Warri Airport is located along Airport Road in Warri. It is currently used by only helicopters and light crafts. Commercial planes preferably use Osubi airport.
