My carpenter dad is 90, only now do I realize now patient he was with me, teaching me what he knew. Watching Jim teach Chris with all things good and true warms my heart. Jims age may have slowed the body, but quickened the Mind.
Irma is going to be THE BEST skoolie in all the land as you say, LOL. The pickling and flooring are an amazing match. The corner sink is brilliant!. The collaboration between Wes, Jim /Debbie, and you is absolutely priceless and wonderful. Imagine if all of you were to come together to build a 4th coach for the next new friend! When great people like all of you 'give back' to the next new person, the possibilities grow exponentially. Irma is a perfect example.
I love the color of the walls! It turned out so nice! I can picture drift wood decorations, beach themes and teal blue curtains! The color of the floor is a perfect, weathered beach cabin look! Great job, Chris!
I can hardly wait until the next vid! Can you only imagine how Chris will be when he's much older and teaching someone how to build things. Chris, also with a voice like yours you could have a career in radio and your own RV builder TV show. Something to think about in the future. Each one of these vids you are making ARE your resume. J
Love watching your bus come along it looks great it's nice to see a young person working with an older person like Jim so many young people disrespect older people and older people stay young at heart by working and talking with younger people
Really nice sink. I love it. Flooring and couch are great too. It's like you made it to the top of the mountain and now your coasting downhill and picking up speed. Everything is moving right along. I'm so excited for you. Kobuck looks pretty stoked too.😊❤🐾
I really like to color that you chose for the floor is going to lighten up to mood inside the bus and that couch looks extra comfy LOL.that sink is starting to look amazing I've never seen anybody do it that way but was it has the cover on top at a look fantastic!
Been watching since before you took Zep on the road. What a Monumental project you took on and its been fun to watch your progress. Ive been full time Static Rv' ing for a year now. Watching you get the Skoolie put together has got me thinking. Its either a Tiny home when I retire or possibly a Skoolie. HMMM. Thanks for sharing!
The sink looks great even sitting there by itself. Can't wait to see it with countertop and cabinets. The couch won't really be yours until it's covered in Kobuks's hair.
Hey good morning, watching your videos has made my mind up on doing a school bus. I have a question, how tall is your bus from grown to roof? And could you have gone taller? Are is there state laws limiting the hight?
Should have thought of this before, earlier in the build. You should build a hidden stash box somewhere on the bus where you can keep money, or whatever, that you don't want people to find. You go out for a hike and someone breaks into the bus and at least your wallet is hidden.
I have my doubts about how well that sleeper sofa wil stay together it looks pretty flimsy the base is fiber board.and the.hinges wil probably break out of it at the frst time the bed lands on something laying on the floor or someome lands on.it.with the bus driving If you can get the fabric off it without damaging it.too bad i would.make a new base out of.plywood and then built the rest ontoo that , that should be enough to make it last a lot longer
There are great things about this build, but I have a few criticisms this time: 2:45 - Calling a dog up on a couch, then reinforcing that 'training' saying "good boy" isn't going to be so cool when it's muddy out and you've got your new couch cover on. I could be mistaken though; maybe the dog only comes up when invited? My real concern: 4:54 - not the best MO with that nailing gun. If one of you slips or gets bumped, it could be bad news. On the positive side, love the wall finish.
what are you doing for countertop's? i been binge watching another channel with a guy making them with epoxy on plywood with some amazing results, might be good for a motorhome... ua-cam.com/users/bulldogquistvideos
Maybe it’s a budget thing which I can appreciate, but sorry dude. The way you brought in that old rickety couch, chopped it apart, then crammed it into place is like I was watching a whole different build. Certainly not the Chris style or quality work we have grown to love and respect. It looks awful. Straight “A’s” for everything else. Take care.
it's just a couch and doesn't appear to be permanently installed. like chris said in the beginning, it was going to be a bohemian build, not a better homes and gardens build.....
My carpenter dad is 90, only now do I realize now patient he was with me, teaching me what he knew. Watching Jim teach Chris with all things good and true warms my heart. Jims age may have slowed the body, but quickened the Mind.
I envy and admire the skill Jim has!
Jim and Debbie are Rock Stars ✨ We Love you all 😇
Agreed!

Love the angle of the sink, beautiful work, Jim is amazing how he see's it and then builds it...
Sink is looking good. Your schoolie is coming a long great. 👍✌💙🌹💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃💃
I'm loving this project man... -Hank from Seward's, friend from Connecticut that was a groomsman in his and Leah's Wedding, peace my dude!
Breaking away from 90 degree angles really adds to the coziness - great moves with the sink!
Thank you!
You are so lucky to have Jim who has amazing skills.
I love the color of the walls! It turned out so nice! I can picture drift wood decorations, beach themes and teal blue curtains! The color of the floor is a perfect, weathered beach cabin look! Great job, Chris!
It's always a joy to watch a pro work.
Thanks for sharing your life with us here on UA-cam

That's a unique sink like I have never seen, but I like it. You guys are in cruise mode toward the finish line.
It is really starting to look like a thing! Just great! Really like that music too. Thanks Chris, Jim and Debbie.
This is definitely a very unique layout and it looks great. Your sink is a beauty.
You guys (that includes Debbie) are doing a great job. A real inspiration.

Just you and Kobuk on the sofa looked so sad..... Anyway, great progress with the bus Chris, love the flooring and the whole build.
Looking Great

The Chris and Jim show :) Great working friends.
The sink looks great even sitting there by itself. Can't wait to see it with countertop and cabinets.
The couch won't really be yours until it's covered in Kobuks's hair.
That happened within the first 5 minutes of him sitting on it :-)

The cabinet on the left will be great for a fire extinguisher . What color is the outside going to be .I assume your waiting todo that last.
"You ready to go get some wings?" about 20 seconds later Kobie (or w/e the dogs name is) goes barreling by for the door "yup yup" =)
Cow bucks is a rock star!
Plays bass for Maroon 5
Great work!
Thanks Lysander!
Looks good and solid although I’m surprised you don’t use Kleg pocket screws and jig.
whos this jim guy? hes a kick ass builder
Could this bus be built without the whistling?
I think not.
It's like wizard magic.
I like the couch. Where did you get it from? Can you provide the link? I kindly thank you in advance.
👍
Is that grain north to south with the bus pointing north to south or is that grain north to south with the bus pointing east to west?
Love the sink. Where did you get it?
👍🏾
What color was the flooring? I'd love to know
Hey good morning, watching your videos has made my mind up on doing a school bus. I have a question, how tall is your bus from grown to roof? And could you have gone taller? Are is there state laws limiting the hight?
Good question! I've been wondering the same thing.
gotta fix your Patreon link Chris!
wow, not far to go ya, wow.

You need to put work boots on ,not a good idea working with no shoes on
what are you doing for countertop's?

Tell the truth, Jim is your long lost Father? No one would do all that work for a stranger.

Just sayin’. I love the build, but nothing else seems “bohemian”
