Was wollen wir überhaupt? Von Liebe träumen oder Liebe leben? Wahre Liebe, die es nicht gibt, weil es nur Liebe gibt. Was wollen wir? Verantwortung übernehmen? Für das, aber das nicht, was auch immer das ist. Was wollen wir? Eine Hand halten, ohne sie zu verletzen? Einen Drink am Nachmittag, ein Lokal, das noch offen hat, einen Anruf. Ein bisschen Betäubung, einen Körper, an dem man sich wärmen kann. Was wollen wir?
What we want
What do we want anyway? Dream of love or live love? True love, that does not exist because there is just love. What do we want? Take responsibility? For this, but not that, whatever that is. What do we want? To hold a hand without hurting it? A drink in the afternoon, a place that's still open, a phone call. A little numbness, another body to warm yourself. What do we want?

Wonderful shots! Super 8 has a lot of halation and I love that warm glow around the edges. But yeah, that gate hair is annoying. It can happen and in some Super 8 cameras the gate is hard to reach (say: AGFA Movexoom 3000). It's usually easier with 16mm.
Yes, we shot on a Nikon R10. So no changeable optics - so the only way to check the gate is removing the film cassette.
@@adriankuchenreuther8697 absolutely. With 16mm it's easier when you have a coaxial external mag (for example Eclair, Aaton and Arriflex SR models), but even these can get hairs stuck in the gate. The Eclair ACL is said to be infamous for that. Anyway: wonderful shots!

Someone didn't check the gate like they should have, there's a hair dangling upper CAMERA LEFT but it's so great to see Celluloid, Photochemical, Nitrate Film back. Shame on you AC, that was one of your jobs.
It's such a tiny delicate gate, isn't it?
1. Could you see with your bare eyes that such a speck is dangling there? As it's hard to get close to
2. Will a toothbrush wipe it off without damaging the gate?
Yes you're totally right, and shame on us :D I filmed on my own, tried to check the gate as much as I could, but missed this one. Still - it kinda adds to the feeling.
