A happy and blessed Thanksgiving to the Burnett sisters and your families. Thank you so much for treating us to a great tune on the day after Thanksgiving.🇺🇸💪🏻❤️
What a LOVELY version of that song. I've heard it many many times and till now the landmark version has been the famous one by Ricky Skaggs and Tony Rice. Now I think those two have a challenger. Your 3 part close harmony is perfect and your instrumentation is not too elaborate and dominating but it's complementing your vocals perfectly. LOVE IT!! Mike Kear, Australia.
Well. This is quite a treat. As is usually the case, y'all nailed it. Anneli you know how to touch hearts with your voice! Anissa and Anneli your voices blend so perfectly.I gotta go , and listen to it again.
Just beautiful ladies and gent. Girls look fab and sound fab. Bring a lot of joy to a young 76 year old approaching the Xmas 🎄🎁🎄 season. Xmas times a coming and I know I'm going home 🏡🏡.
Great job guys. Again you took a solid song of the church, put your touch, a brisk pace and tight family harmonys and turned a day onto a great day. Happy Holidays.
Very nice, I like this rendition better than the past (not that it was not good. :) ) Ladies and gent looking great, as usual. Sophia - I really like your ponytail!!!!
Another excellent performance by your group. With Geary Allen on the guitar and the lovely Sophia on the double base made the song perfect. Of course the singers, mandolin and fiddle completed a perfect performance by you all. I received the video that only a few hours being posted. Look forward to seeing more and more. From Oz Down-under.
A song written about 1911, by William Golden from Webster County, Mississippi. He also wrote the song called "A Beautiful Life". He was in prison around that time for supposedly stealing a hog. PS: That is some good guitar picking.
great job on a beautiful old Hymn, after ya'll post Jimmy Brown the newsboy🤣, another like this one that I'd love to hear ya'll do is another old Hymn "Ill meet you in the morning"
Anissa , Anneli, Sophia, Wonderful family harmonies (plus Geary) on this classic polyphonic music; usually performed with two singers, so very special here with three parts interplaying. Soul of Man Never Dies is mandatory repertoire for bluegrass gospel style, so thanks for laying down an excellent version in 2024. Billy Strings performed this song with a backup singer in a jam session parking lot in 2016 while leaning on a dented rusty car. The Soul of Man Never Dies-William Apostol/Billy Strings ua-cam.com/video/qzla8TQ6zqQ/v-deo.html (PS: The “credits” have the names and vocals a bit mixed up, which is understandable when so many sisters can play so many instruments and sing lead too.) Extra verse: The love light beams across the foam, Where the soul of man never dies. It shines and lights the way to home, Where the soul of man never dies.
Pretty much all has already been said. BUT, I'd rather look at these lovely ladies(and even gent :) ) than a dented rusty car!! :) Geary - bet you could write a song, "Dented Rusty Car"! :)
They are totally Awesome❤
Praise GOD HIS WORD that there is a remnant that keeps alive our heritage & culture.
What a nice job on a great, inspiring song. Love to see young folks singing this music.
This is one of the very best renditions I've heard!! Great job!!

Reminds me of the Carter Family…
So in the description Anissa is listed twice by mistake. Which is Anneli?
Whoops! Fixed! 😆
Hi ! ¿And what happened with the another Sister? They are four.... ❤
Kathleen married and dropped out of the band.
