If you need a custom livewell size, Tiny Boat Nation has those available as well. Powdercoating for the lids is an additional option we chose to do for this build. Links are in the Description of this video guys, thanks for watching #projectwilson
Bass fishing is the best my favourite is striped bass but bass in general are just a crazy fish too catch the way they strike is super exciting I do my own UA-cam as well except I am only 13 my goal is too engage our next generation into fishing 🎣 but your videos are better then mine your editing is just next level awesome 😎
This is coming together so great... can't wait to see the rest of it! I like the idea of having a live well that big. That's the biggest thing I dislike about my Stratos is the two small, separate live wells.
How do you determine where to place heavy items on the boat builds to get them to balance properly and not be too front or rear heavy I've seen batteries and livewells moved forward in some boats and rearward in others
So, what not are you using to countersink for aluminum rivets? Did you try the flute ones you had on the video? Did you try using round nose carbide router bits for this purpose?
now as much work that you have put in to this boat going all out doing it with aluminum an everything (why pool noodles) on the gunnel rail they make a rubber rail that fits over top the existing top rail

That boat is really starting to come together. Awesome work.
Thanks Will!
Coming along nice Brotha! Going to be such a sweet rig, livewell setup will be pro-status!

Project Wilson is looking amazing
Thank you!
Awesome video man! I say RETINA BURNING BRITE ORANGE sea dek but I think I know that isn't the final decision...
Awesome man! Can’t wait to see the finished product! I think green camo turf would look fire 🔥
If they made hi viz green it would be sick! Hmmm

I believe it, especially since you catch the big ones all the time! You've been having a good year!
This build is going SO well man....seriously legit boat. With the 18 gal livewell, are you doing a separate bait tank and a chill tank?
Thanks Shane! Nope, no bait tank.

When designing a boat build how do you determine where to place everything to distribute the weight properly so the boat is properly balanced?

I’m thinking gray would look good.
Looking good
The turf color should be snow camo
Ohh good call, thanks Ira!
Killa video man. Great content 👌
Thank You sir!
Like the way you build live well tanks
Where you get the tank and cover top from
Hope you have time to answer thank you 🙏
Tbnation.net, search 18 gallon livewell. You can choose to add on a lid!
Why did you not use a full sheet of foam under the well ? I would think it could only add buoyancy ?
It's purpose is to help keep the base of the tank from rocking due to it being stamped in the bottom
so nice.
What are you using on the sides to mount everything to
1.5” angle
When you use the angled aluminum to make the frame for the lid. It’s layers. Do you put a flat piece of aluminum to make it level?
I will in some areas. For the most part, it's only 1/16" off. At the end of the day, it doesn't make that much of a difference
now as much work that you have put in to this boat going all out doing it with aluminum an everything (why pool noodles) on the gunnel rail they make a rubber rail that fits over top the existing top rail
They are just there to keep the paint protected while I install everything
How do you plumb it?
Flowrite premium kit
What do u put in the LIVEWELL ?
Fish
Grey?!
I’m still saying yellow camo!
Hmm...
I'm thinking camouflage
Unfortunately all the camo is unavailable from Hydroturf right now
