I actually used 3/4" polyethylene agricultural tubing and ran it between my ribs and the hull of the boat. You can buy a big role and its fairly flexible. You can get two pieces between the ribs and hull. It works very well for the wiring I ran and didn't have to drill any holes. Js for anyone else who may be considering running wiring
Love seeing the absolute step by step in shorter videos like this. You explain it all very well. I'm building up my Milwaukee tools as well....I went with all M18....already got the M18 band saw, and the M18 Rivet gun should arrive any day! Another great video.
@@fireantfishing one comment ahead of time, because your still a ways our from electrical on this boat. However, when you get to running electrical, I would love that to be as in depth and detailed as possible. I can wire a house up no problem, but in trying to draw out the plans for my boat, I am struggling to figure it out and am really looking forward to it on this boat!
I would have put edging on those holes and ran the wiring free of the conduit and kept the conduit for future use, most likely could have just done one conduit run and one set of hoiles for all wiring.
First comment hell yea I'm gonna be building my own jon boat here soon so I've been watching all your videos to get some ideas. Yall do a good job keep it up
I'll be at Hard Labor Creek Reservoir on May 29 from 10-2 for the TEC! I'll have #projectwilson with me so you guys can see it in person!
What size rivet did you use?

Foundation is important for any build! Looks like you have built a solid one!
Thanks bud, come by and take a look at it sometime
Good choice on the Milwaukee Tool. Thanks for the tip on PVC over the gray. My first build is approaching that point soon.
Nice!
You are doing an awesome job Ryan! Love watching this build. Good work!
Thanks Troy, I appreciate it. Going to try and make it to your shindig!
Desalt makes a 90 attachment. It goes into the drill and on the 90 degree end you can put in a drill bit.
Ah, yeah that probably would have worked as well 🤦♂️

Nice problem solving and defining worth investing into the right tools, especially if you're gonna be building a lot. Can't wait to see more progress.
I agree!
Consistent and persistent, your getting there Ryan 👍
Thanks Ken! Using your tips this week for Fishin' Friday 👍👍
