Cities can’t even build proper bike lanes and sidewalks, good luck building robot lanes 😅
Exactly!
We in The Netherlands do tho..
I´m not sure if this invention is ever going to take off, theft and malfunctioning of these things is a high risk factor.
@@Siranoxz it's already taken off in the UK, we've had the Starship robots for years in Milton Keynes. They're a very common sight on the cycle lanes, roads and pavements.
Weirdly theft and vandalism hasn't really been a big problem. They're covered in CCTV, so that might have something to do with it. I often see rental e-bikes and e-scooters vandalised and dumped, but never a Starship robot.

I saw similar "robots" ten years ago in Tallinn, Estonia. Funny. Bothering when you are close to them and don't know where it will go. Eye contact is really important in slow traffic like as a pedestrian and on bikes.
I hope, that stuff will fly! Literally. Food does not weigh much. It should fly into my/your opened window.
...well, except in storms.
The thickest Polish accent you can ever imagine. My ears bleed.
Thanks for feedback, will work on this one
i chcę spróbować zbudować prototyp drona do dostarczania jedzenia z restauracji lub dostarczania leków z aptek.
Robot nanny or robot Nurse AI assistant for human hibernate travel to Mars
And what if someone steals the food ?
Nice ❤
As for parcels, in Poland we have a good soluton for them: the packstations - there are a ton of them, takes 5-10 minut to walk to one for the vast majority of people, you press a button in an app and the correct 'door' opens and you take out your package. Its cheaper than delivery so many people use it
You should do a video about the BLEES autonomous minibus being tested in Katowice.
Thanks for the recommendation!
I love automation and efficiency, but robot lanes before bike lanes is wishful thinking and unrealistic
But sometimes you have to imagine future before it becomes present
Thanks for watching!
This is the most disappointing UMX video to date. Just have someone on bikes delivering things instead.
Appreciate your feedback, thanks for watching! Urban mobility isn't just about bikes-it's a diverse landscape, as you know. We're excited to explore different initiatives and their progress. Stay tuned for more variety!
