I am sooooo glad that I came across your videos!!! Thank you for all of your tips on maintaining natural hair. I will definitely continue to take your advice and continue my healthy narural hair journey.
I have so much unlearning to do. Last year this time if someone would have asked me if i would use loreal products, flat iron or paddle brush i would have said No. Simply becase most products would seems to dry out my hair because of their alcohol content in them. I would have never use a paddle brush either. Now i notice i have way less shedding using the paddle brush in the shower. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us
@@cas6996 I’m so happy to hear your experience. I’m glad I can pass on whatever knowledge I’ve learned. Please continue to spread the word your fellow naturals 💗🧚🏾♂️
Love u so much… especially when u said moon berry juice from Jupiter😂😂😂. I am getting to a point in my hair journey that I only want to have five hair products in my routine, shampoo, conditioner/mask, leave in conditioner, oil and heat protectant, that’s enough for me.
Thanks Jettie, my hair is thriving! I have incorporated the conditioners that you use, and the detangling process (technique) has been drastically minimized. Additionally, the shedding that I experience on a weekly basis looks like I only lost 100 strands daily. Will continue..it’s not broken, and there is no reason to fix it😂
May I ask a question, can you recommend a good flat iron? I plan to start straightening it now that the weather is getting cooler. It has been two years since I have flat ironed my hair.
from my experience, ive noticed that my hair really did break off easily when i solely wet styled my hair with creams and gels. now that ive been heat stretching my hair for about 10 months, i notice my strands are able to withstand more tugging than before....but im not sure if thats due to the bond builders i use
Most people don’t realize that your hair is in its weakest state when wet, so yes, your hair will be easier to break off and become damaged when it’s constantly wet from creams and gels or in wash ‘n’ gos. I’ve been a straight natural most of my life and then I switched to wash n gos and my hair is still recovering from all the damage from split ends and single strand knots and shedding. I’ve gone back to straightening it and it’s doing much better but still more work to do, using Olaplex and now a keratin treatment to strengthen it.
Same ! That method grew my hair ( heat training) ! wet looks didnt work. I Heat trained my hair only saw a hairtylist for silk press every 3 -4 weeks now I go in just for a wash and blow dry with a pony tail. I work out alot now so i need sometthing simple. If I want it out I add a natural upart wig so I dont have to blend and then go back to a ponytail. I try to avoid do hairtstyles lol
@@chibi0109 I would definitely check with your doctor first before taking any type of supplements. However, I like the liquid biotin by a company called KAL ultra liquid biotin on Amazon. For your iron deficiency, I would definitely say follow your doctors recommendations.
I didn’t big chop , I transitioned. I let the relaxer grow out enough so that i could at least do a pony. I like simplicity, I got me some Marley hair and pretty much works buns, (low, top knot etc) until it was a length I was comfortable wearing in puffs and stuff 👋🏽
I agree, if you don’t want to big chop then wait a while until your hair grows to wear you’re comfortable enough with cutting the rest of the relaxer off 💗🧚🏾♂️

You are so right. I did that half of my life.

Hello, what’s the biotin you’re taking? I also suffer from low iron levels.

I detange my hair that way also. It is better
Note:I want to try using just .Conditioner. I will.try.
I am trying to go natural without big chopping and I pray I don’t have to big chop❤
I never big chopped. I did like 3 mini chops over time. You don’t have to do anything that you don’t want to.
