Jerk Chicken & Stewed Oxtail in Pizza Form || Fork Yeah
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 тра 2018
- As avid pizza lovers, brothers Jermaine and Paul Burrowes set out to open a traditional Neapolitan pizzeria in Brooklyn. After playing around with different recipes, the two felt that their pizzas were lacking their own personal touch. The two tapped into their childhoods to create what they call Caribbean wood-fired pizza -- the first of its kind. They blend Caribbean staples like jerk chicken, oxtail, and saltfish with traditional Neapolitan techniques to create some of the most unique pizzas in all of New York.
Now more than ever, thanks to Instagram, people are eating with their eyes. But does all this Instagrammable food actually taste good? What’s the story behind popular new food like Taco Pizza or Cheetos Macaroons? “Fork Yeah” answers these questions head on. This series goes to the source of the latest and greatest food trends and most ‘gramable dishes to find out how they taste and what inspired the making of them.

showbaz a yeah, he’s much more lively now.
What kind of sorcery is this that has been done to Caribbean food......... I think I like it.
i appreciated the commentaries on this video ! thumb up
Fish on pizza? I had a slice of tuna pizza in Rome several years ago. Not sure if it's traditional but with all that coastline I guess it could be. This was a terrific episode for sure. Cool owner and dang delicious looking pizza. 👍
Anchovies have always been a pizza staple for a long time.
+jzderf Yes indeed, very common. But when was the last time you had salt cod or tuna on a pizza?
Never. But I thought we were talking about the host saying that we've "never" had fish on pizza before when there's definitely examples.
+jzderf OK, you've never had cod or tuna on pizza. That is exactly the host's point. Chas is aware of anchovies because it's so common so "never" in this video is clearly hyperbole. In the future when Chas is doing an episode on ice cream and says "this is going to be fun because *_everyone_* loves ice cream" he really doesn't mean everyone.
Im definitely going here this week
Damn, NYC has everything.
Anchovies are a pretty common pizza topping, so saltfish makes a ton of sense. All those pies looked dope
There's a pizza place in my hometown which does a pizza with jerk chicken and pepperoni on it. It's fucking amazing

love zurilee!!!!! its up the block from me and they are great!
glorialucia I just found out it's 20 minutes away I'm going today for sure lol.
I'm definitely curious... I love oxtail and jerk chicken, but on a pizza it has me a little concerned... Hmmmmm 🤔
Jerk chicken is sweet? Seems like they add too much sugar to the blend, it shouldn't be sweet it should balance the all spice and the hot pepper not make it sweet.
What do think yesterday. On me
