Might i add Vaseline? I have tiny travel ones and its so good for many things. Lip balm, dry areas on your body, makeup remover and my favorite, for the inside of my nose! It gets so dry on airplanes!🎉

How do you get pepper spray in a carry on only?

you don't. and mind you, in many countries pepper spray is illegal to carry! For example in Hungary you can get in trouble with the police if you use pepper spray, because you can only keep it at home, you cannot carry with you in the street. check local laws before packing anything that can be used as a weapon, cuz you might find yourself at the local police station...

I don't know why Americans think that Europe is some dangerous backwaters. I tell, you it's 200% safer here than anywhere in the US... I never needed any kind of device no matter which European country I visited.

I agree!-I feel safe in Europe but I feel like it's always smart as a solo woman traveler to be aware of your surroundings and have a couple safety gadgets no matter where you are traveling.

@Xia-hu I'm sure you are correct in that assumption, however, as foreigners, we can inadvertently draw more attention to ourselves, and we hang out in target-rich areas (mostly the tourist area).

Not everyone is savvy enough or may simply not find the time to fully research destinations ahead....which is the biggest protective factor with any travel, IMHO.

NEVER bring pepper spray on a plane. Always keep pepper spray in a checked bag.
