My wife and I have the most beautiful little baby girl. She’s the cutest little long haired fur ball. She was sick as a baby not eating much but pooping everywhere. She was on a lot of stuff to help her survive and developed FIP. So much fluid between her organs. The vet actually pulled a huge vial of fluid from her chest cavity. The difference between her before and after fluid was amazing. My wife joined a Facebook community and we got our hands on experimental drugs. Our vet is amazing helping us along the way. The medicine burns being administered so the vet gave us a script of Gabopentin I believe it’s called. Give it to her 2 hours before the injection. Makes a huge difference we give her lots of love and treats after. We are a week in…. I just wish she knew we weren’t hurting her on purpose. Her name is Sakari and she’s going to be a success story. Cats are so incredibly tough. I just ask that you keep pushing not giving up just because of a diagnosis. Sakari has gone from being lethargic to actually playing with our other cats. If you have questions, anything, reach out and my wife and I will answer best we can. UPDATE! Sakari is off of meds and doing absolutely wonderful! She’s turned into the little queen of the house. So blessed!
Good luck and lots of love to you, your family, and your furbaby. I'm sure she will forgive you as she lives a long, healthy, beautiful life with you! ❤
My cat Sammy is an FIP survivor. This stuff works. I made a couple videos about this. He had his first dose on July 13 and his last on October 4. Today is his first birthday.
So happy for you and your cat 🐱 ❤️Erika, where do you live? (I ask bc I live in Sweden and every vet-site I’ve been on says there’s no approved cure in Sweden..).
My cat Charlie passed away in 2020 of FIP we are still devastated by his loss. We adopted Chloe as a kitten and a month later she was diagnosed with wet FIP we found out there is now treatment and after 3 months of daily injections and tears 😭 she is now in observation. We are thankful to FIP Warriors for their support and helping locate vaccines for Chloe. Hope is there! 🥰
My cat passed in the same year as Charlie. Sending love, it really sucked and I understand the pain. I have Bella now and she channels the energy of Mike D (my cat that passed away from the same), they're playing together in another place. Sending love
We just had a kitten with ocular fip and he is thriving after just two of his treatments. It’s so amazing that there are resources for this. I strongly believe our cats know when we are fighting for them which makes them fight even more.
I agree 100%. Animals are certainly more sensitive, intelligent and perceptive than humans give them credit for. I'm so very glad to hear that your kitten is doing so well! Give him boops and kisses from a well-wisher from Phoenix!
Me too! He was so beautiful and he loved my other cat so much, they loved each other so much. This was over 7 years ago, we put him down cause his lungs kept filling up with fluid. Didn’t know it could be helped 😢 kinda makes me mad now
I wish they would have had treatment when my cat had FIP.. this was about 15 years ago and there was nothing the vets could do, so my cat passed away when she wasn't even one year old... It was very traumatic, especially since I was still a child. Good luck to Coco and you ❤️
We lost our kitty to FIPs. We tried to treat but then he had a bowel obstruction so we put him to sleep. It is horrible. But thanks to those who help us treat our loved furries. Thank you for talking about this.
We had the exact same situation, my kitty wasn't able to pee or pass stool, I was trying to squeeze his bladder so that he could empty it with our help. His health worsened overnight and we had to put him to sleep today, so heartbreaking. My kiwi joined the cat heaven today
Absolutely heartbroken for you Hannah but have lots of hope that these treatments are going to work for your sweet girl. I lost my beloved black kitty Charlie to FIP a couple years ago. Sending so much love to you and Coco ❤️
My kitten is halfway through his treatment for neurological FIP and he’s doing great. He still walks a bit funny and twitches in his sleep a lot, but he’s alive and happy and we are very grateful ❤️ I’m glad that you made a video about this so that people will know what to do. I wish Coco the best in her recovery. I believe she will make it, don’t give up hope!
Shit I just hit 42 and I myself twitch in bed or as start getting tired..It started happening several years ago now but has progressively gotten worse in the last 2 years and I'm almost afraid to go to the doctors and find out why..I know it's something neurological as I've had multiple concussions over the years and a bad accident in '00 that left me with a broken neck, broken wrist, broken ribs, and slew of other issues. Worst part is the problems that arise yrs later on..
That is not a good sigh to still have neuroligical issues that far in. If you are using injection and not getting in without stress and full amount it may be the issue.
The new treatment is amazing and has been EXTREMELY successful. Its baffling that it hasnt become mainstream. Best of luck to Coco, she has the best chance of recovery being with you!
The same thing happened to my baby Cups 4 years ago. My heart was shattered to pieces. Sending you guys love ❤️ I'm happy you're treating Coco and happy to know there's hope!
I feel for you. Lost my special needs CH kitty to wet FIP. I had done cat rescue for a while and never had a single rescue succumb to it. I wish they had a treatment for it at that time. This was early 2019. You are on the cutting edge.
my friends literally JUST lost their freshly-adopted cat to FIP this morning. the timing of this video scares me a bit. but i hope you and your little buddy can get through this
Me too. I had adopted a kitten 2 weeks ago over the weekend. I knew something was wrong, he was euthanized two weeks ago today. The vet told me there were experimental treatments, but the success rate was low and I'd probably only extend his suffering. His abdomen was full of fluid and bowls and organs already separated from linings when I got him to the vet. He was euthanized that day, although I had never heard of FIP before then. The vet didn't really push me one way or another, but she did suggest euthanization was the best option. I hope I made the best choice for him, but his suffering is over now.
@@LC-wv7tzsame thing just happened to me this morning. had to put down my 1 yr old baby boy. i was worried the vets would immediately go to euthanasia but i also called the vet from the shelter i got him from and she also recommended it. he was so weak and sick, i know he is in a better place now. 😢
We had a friend who had a young cat diagnosed with FIP and they went the route you did. A couple years later, the cat is happy, healthy, full of energy and FIP free. This cat was near death when they found out about it; the vet had told them they had a few days left for that cat. I think you'll get through it, you're more prepared than many.
I wish I would’ve known FIP was treatable sooner. I had to put my 5 month old black kitten, Crow down in February. Within 10 hours of him showing noticeable signs of wet FIP the vets had to put him down. ): He was the first cat I’ve owned and was truly special and such an intuitive and smart cat. I cried for a week straight. But found peace knowing I gave him a good life. I just wish I had more time with him.
I'm sorry about your lovely cat'..coul you tell about the symptoms ? Mine first had yellow bile vomit, refuse to eat or drink water, tired and only moves to go to toilette or to vomit this is just in 1 day the next day he continued to vomit and still didn't not eat anytging that's when i took him to vet immediately. Now, he is under extensive care qnd have drooling and found out there some liquid in his abdomen. Is it FIP ?
@@wejdenzaibi1200 did you get results on what your kitty may have? My kitty was breathing hard, barely moved, had super dilated pupils and didn’t want to eat.
@@macaywee i'm sorry about your lovely cat? Take her to the vet as soon as possible please and keep me updated. It has been 10 days in vet clinique and actually tomorrow I'm going to bring my baby home, it was revealed he had cat-coronavirus, chronic kidney disease and weak immunity..had really hard time crying as there was some time my cat was getting weak and dying..thanks to Allah and extensive care, he is getting better except he lost a lot of weight.. I need to change to Renal friendly diet, eno more going out, soon once he recovers, i will have to sterilize him to protect him from wanting to go out. My poor baby he is only one year and 5 months old 💔
This group saved my cat Aylmers life. At 4 months old he was diagnosed. It’s was hard to diagnose. My vet told me about FIP Warriors. The group, the Admins, and the whole community helped us so much. We were a mess the whole 12 weeks. I watched his every move and breath. Last week was his one year diagnosis anniversary. He has been cleared since July . Thank you for doing this video and spreading the word. Many vets will not tell you about this treatment. You got this! You are giving your baby a fighting chance! Welcome to being a warrior! Aylmer and I will keep you in our thoughts while you are on this difficult journey.
Hold coco extra close. I lost my sweet boy, Remus to kidney failure in October. There’s not a day where my heart doesn’t hurt without him. How I had wished for a cure for him or at least more time. In the last few months with him, I had to become nurse and mom. Meds, injections, fluids, it all took a toll. No matter how experienced you are, it’s so different with your own baby. I was blessed to get 1 last day where I wasn’t a nurse anymore. I will be pulling for sweet coco. She has so much fight and the best advocate by her side. Remy didn’t get more time but I’ll be hoping you guys do.
For real, every time I hear how far veterinary medicine has come, the lives it saves, the suffering it heals -- I just can't help but get emotional. There are many ailments that used to be a death sentence but new understanding and new treatments are developed which not only save lives, but make those lives less painful. I love to see science not only helps humans but even our furry companions.
All of the medical field has progressed a _shocking_ amount the past two decades, it's so fantastic! HIV cases in humans for instance, used to be a death sentence and now their expected survival length is a normal life span _and_ the medicine is no longer a difficult and long list of medicines to take. It's so delightful to see how these kitties don't have to suffer like they used to.
My beautiful foster baby Cici is on day 26 of her treatment. Her condition has improved so much! Thank you for the needle advice. The better she gets the more she is fighting the injection. As a foster with a rescue I do hope the price of the meds comes down in the future. The more we can save the better!
If you foster through a separate organization (or not), how do you recommend going about a coronavirus/FIP diagnosis. I foster and the shelter wants to put my three foster kittens down for Coronavirus, but I can't let that happen.. they are so young and energetic, and if there is a cure for FIP and a low chance of even getting it, I want to see what I can do or say to stop them from euthanizing them.
One of my favorite kitties at the shelter I volunteer at we found that she had FIP. We didn't know it at first. She passed away after taken sick one day. She was a special girl and she had a special mark on her nose. I fell in love with her. I heard a song right after her death, which I didn't know, that reminded me of that mark. It looked like a tear drop. Listen to"Blessings " by Laura Story and you can hear about tear drops and rain drops. Wish she could have gotten the med. She passed in 2012.
Hannah, Sorry to hear about Coco’s diagnosis. She has a great mom who will take excellent care of her. I hope Coco is on the road to recovery and your spirits are good. Take care.
Losing my cat was a huge blow to my soul and she was just 3. Being afraid for a cat you've spent over a decade with must be crushing. I'm so glad FIP is getting treated. I will be thinking of you and Coco, I wish you luck with the treatment and I hope she can pull through.
I treated my Cat boy Charlie with GS too, it's now about 1 year ago we made this therapie, and it saved his life. I'm just sooo thankful for this treatment
@@leoniek6351 Thank you, he got for 84 days = 12 weeks every day one injection. It was a really hard time for him and for me, but we made it, and now he doesn't have to take any medicine anymore 😊😊
My Alice was like your Coco, the love of my life, and my sweet baby. August 2021, she was diagnosed with the same lymphoma as Coco, but there was no specialist around us to help her, and the closest one hours away was nearly a month ahead for the soonest appointment. I made all the appointments and was trying to keep her comfortable, but I lost her. It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do, and I'm not okay at all. This video made me cry, but I am so, so happy that Coco has you and that she is getting the help and treatment needed to combat her cancer and FIP. It is also relieving to hear that there is a treatment now for FIP and, from the sounds of it, so many cats have been treated and saved with it. Thank you for sharing.
Love to you, Andrew, and your entire house of kitties. I hope that one day the legal roadblocks surrounding the treatment of FIP will be cleared and that more cat owners will have access to this live-saving treatment 💕
I've treated two of my cats for FIP. 84 days of injections, and the kitties hated it, but it worked. I wish you the best of luck. It's a tough road, but it's very likely that you will succeed.
I wish you the best and hope she'll have a speedy recovery. I know it's difficult, but I know you'll do everything and give them your best, and that's all you can do ❤
Our Charlie was 3 years old when diagnosed with FIP. We treated him for 84 days and today he is healthy, playful cat as he used to be. Praying for your cat to get through it ❤
How did you get in contact with someone for treatment? I created a new fb account to join the group but they haven't accepted me. I'm scared they won't accept me into the group and I won't be able to get help for my little cat Finn
Our foster kitty, Ollie, has also been diagnosed with FIP. It was incredibly hard, but we were able to send him to the refuge we are fostering him from (we want to adopt him but this happened before we could move forward with it) and he's been receiving treatment! From the updates we receive, he's been doing really well :,) I miss him so much and hope we can bring him back home to continue treating him, since my parents have had some past experiences with injecting cats/kittens. I hope Coco does well 💞
I am SO glad to hear that a treatment/cure for this is being found and used. About 4 years ago I lost my cat to FIP and I was devastated. I was only about 11 at the time and we hadn’t noticed it before it was too late. That was one of the worst days of my life. But it really warms my heart to hear this. Good luck on this journey❤️
@@Endor2001 To my understanding, it is a cure? The cat is given the medication for a couple of months and then they no longer have the illness. That would make it a cure, would it not?
Watching this through my tears, I can see on your face how much you’re hurting hannah ❤️ wishing you & coco the very best, she is in the best hands possible. Sending you both all the love
My farm kitten got diagnosed with FIP 3 years ago. It wasn’t there news I wanted. This was before the vaccine was available. Praying for Coco’s recovery. Stay strong, Hannah.
I tried so hard not to cry through this, I can’t imagine how YOU are feeling Hannah. I hope Coco gets better ASAP, we all love her and are thinking about her.
Omg FIP has been a fear of mine since I got a cat (12 years ago). I knew it was untreatable and a horrible death. A friend of mine lost a kitten to it a few years ago. Thank you so much for letting us know there's a treatment! My fingers are crossed for Coco, she's in great hands.
I'm so thankful that there's treatment for Coco, that science has come far in these short years and can help save the lives of some of your wonderful animal companions. I wish the best for your beloved friend. I hope she has a speedy recovery like she deserves.
So thankful for the research to reverse this awful thing. 2018 I lost my 1year old boy to this and I never want anyone to go through that. I have seen a cat do a complete turn around from the medication! Wishing Coco more years with you and your little family!
Wishing you and Coco all the best with the GS therapy. We lost Squeak to the wet form of FIP almost 1 year ago. She was a seal point Siamese and pure magic with those sapphire colored eyes. My wife found her in a neighbor's window well and brought her home. When Squeak was diagnosed with FIP our veterinary did not offer any treatments. 20/20 hindsight I wish this information regarding GS-441524 sooner. You and Coco are doing something wonderful by sharing your FIP journey.
I’m so sorry to hear about Coco - I am sending you thoughts, prayers and paws 🐾💖 My 12 year old black Bombay cat - she’s my first ever rescue cat - she became really poorly last March and she was diagnosed with feline diabetes. She was very very poorly, we started treatment straight away and the vet was worried but hopeful. After 8 months of trial doses of insulin we found the right ratio for her and almost a year later she is doing ok… she’s not out of the woods and I will have to inject her twice daily with insulin and she’s like an old lady now but she’s soooo loving and snuggly and I will make sure every single moment that I have her in my life, I will make her life full of love and fun and snuggles 🐾🖤🐾✨🥰 Thank you for your videos because you gave me the courage and confidence to treat my fur baby 😘
Lots of love going out to you and Coco . Our kitten Puff was diagnosed with Fip/wet about a week ago , vet told me there was nothing they could do . I scheduled the appointment to put him to sleep . Then my daughter found Fip Warriors and hope was born . They are some pretty amazing people 💜
*mega hug* You can hear the deep love and heartbreak in your voice. Hoping your kitties (Fergie) all live as long and happy as possible. You are so strong and loving, know lots and lots of us are rooting for you.
My cat was diagnosed with wet FIP in October 2020. She went through the treatment and observation period with flying colors. Unfortunately she relapsed with neurological FIP 4 months after observation. We re-treated her and just finished our second 84-day observation period at the end of December. She is doing GREAT! Hang in there! You and Coco will get through this!
My 13 years old cat just diagnosed with FIP 5 days ago . He lost so much weight and weigh only 2.6kilo now . He is on the 3rd day of GS injection now . He was not eating since last week aside from me force feeding and he`s not moving out from the room at all , but as early as the 2nd injection yesterday morning his face turns up & i can see he walked out from the room to the bowl and eat again .My heart is jumping and i felt very hopeful for him. Pray for us!
We lost my boy Milo, my tiny heart and soul, to wet form FIP at the very beginning of 2019, just weeks before the first murmurs of a potential treatment surfaced. Every time I hear stories of cats overcoming the disease my heart is filled with so much joy 💕 Forever sending love and light to you, sweet Coco.
I'm a minor and I help out at my local veterinarian's office every week or so during the summer. I never knew FIP was treatable until today. I've had a cat named Ziggy who unfortunately passed away due to Feline Infectious Peritonitis. We didn't know he had it for a while. And when he was officially diagnosed, he passed away around a month later. Knowing it's both preventable and treatable brings lots of relief!
I am ecstatic that Coco is improving and more than anything, I am happy Coco has you, Hannah! I am filled with much hope for Coco, knowing that she has the treatment. The last few minutes of the video is the sweetest moment when she is talking to you. 🖤🖤🖤 Sending much love to you both. 🙏❤️
Thank you so much for this. One of my greatest fears is my baby getting FIP; when I first heard there was treatment I started to feel my anxiety relax. Watching this video made me able to breathe a little more easily and I'm so, so grateful for you sharing your and Coco's story.
Coco is so gorgeous, my first cat was a solid black male, so a special place in my heart for them. Thanks so very much for the research and information you share with us. At the moment my Tuxedo, Mouse, is beside me. His “childhood” would have been so much easier if I’d had all the information you teach about kittens. In 2006 when I took him in, at about a month old, I didn’t have a clue what I was doing. Fortunately, he’s healthy, spoiled, and has me well trained. Prayers for Coco, she’s got the best warrior right by her side.
Thank you for posting this video, I've watched it multiple times as our 3 yr old kitty that we adopted in 2020, went from 15 lbs in Feb 2022, to 11.5 lbs in July 2022. He's been diagnosed with Wet FIP and I just started his injections yesterday. I was so very nervous and watched every video I could to build up my confidence. I just have to do it, for him. I cried along with him, it took 2 takes for the first injection and I gave him treats afterward. Still, I doubted myself and felt like a failure, but watching your videos helped me channel my bravery. So, thank you. 🥰
There is a Canadian group of FIP Warriors too! Very grateful for their support. We are now treating two FIP cases, one neurological and one ocular. The results are amazing.
Keeping you & Coco in prayers. Have a rescue kitten who may have FIP. He had some issues 2 wks prior to adoption. He's been home about 5 wks, so still in the observation stage.
Im crying watching this, its making me think about my Rory. He is my best friend in the world and I would be so traumatized if something ever happened to him or if he got sick. I am so sorry for what is happening with Coco. You are an amazing cat mama and Coco is so incredibly lucky to have someone like you in their life. Sending good vibes to you and Coco! Wishing for Coco's recovery. Much love 💖
I'm so sorry. I had a little black kitten like Coco who I adopted from a shelter. She had FIP when I got her, and we were not informed. It's possible that the shelter just didn't know. This was 1994, when no treatment was available. She held on for about 6 months, and then she stopped eating. We had to let her go. She had the wet form and was struggling to breathe. I hope and pray that Coco pulls through. She is certainly getting the best care that she could possibly get. You are amazing.
Awe Hannah, I'm so sorry. This is heartbreaking news, but it is far from the end. Coco is a fighter, and you are too. If anyone can get her through this, It's you. Sending hugs and prayers. I know how worried and scared you are, but keep the faith. ❤🐱🐈❤
We were advised to put down our two rescue kittens in 2020 after the vet diagnosed them with FIP. I wish we had known about our options... but they were so sick and we didn't want to see them suffer. It still weighs heavy on my heart. Thank you for sharing this and getting the word out there! Wishing Coco a long and healthy life ahead!
My vet never told us about the option. She just wanted us to put him down so she could get home on time despite him being responsive before she put the fatal needle in.
I was so heartbroken to lose the most precious kitten to this disease, I contacted UC Davis trying desperatly to get into trials for this med but no openings ..I was in FIP groups and unfortunately we just couldn't get our hands on this at the time back in 2017..I'm so glad to see that people can find a way to get the meds they need to beat this.
I found this video yesterday. My kitten was diagnosed with dry FIP and at death's door. I joined the FIP warriors Facebook group and immediately got help. We were able to start treatment within hours. All night I was up checking her breathing and she wasn't moving much like the last few days. I got up to let the dogs out this morning and came back to find her drinking water and yelling at me for food. Then she went and scratched on her post. I am so relieved! Treatment works fast!
I’m so happy there is treatment for FIP now. I lost my first rescue cat a couple years ago to FIP and that’s when I found out it existed. He was also a black cat name Kazoo and was my most beautiful fur baby. I’m really grateful that you are talking about this subject because so many people will see this and know there’s hope.
I rescued a little tortie angel I named Zoey from a foster hoarder situation and watched horrified when she had seizures. I soon learned she was suffering from BOTH FIP and Toxoplasmosis. This was back in 2016. We did what we could but in the end, not much could be done and I had to let her go. It still breaks my heart. This new drug might have helped some. Thanks for sharing, Hanna, you're a godsend to many.
It’s wonderful when just a few years ago there was no hope for this condition and now there is! Science is truly amazing. Sending all the healing light and love to you and CoCo! 💜❤️
I have my own warrior who was officially cured in October 2021 of FIP thanks to the wonderful resources at FIP Warriors. At times the treatment felt so long and difficult, especially when my Mulligan started to fight back during injections. But ever day I reminded myself that I was giving him a chance at another day of life which made it worth it. Best of luck to you and Coco!
The best news I have had in years. I have been rescuing abused cats for almost 30 years . Thank you for the information . My oldest baby will be 21 in april and this will such good news to her if she should need it. Again, thank you.
thank you so much for sharing this story! I run a rescue and last year I had 5 cats get diagnosed with FIP ! And yes years ago there as no treatment and fetal ! thankfully my vet had heard about this new treatment and sent me to the site ! I have treated all 5 and all have done amazing and retested bloods another 84 days after treatment and they are all FIP Free ! It is costly but so amazing that there is a treatment now and we don't have to just let them go. I should mention I started the first cat with the injection and after 2 weeks he would no longer allow me to do it. It because very traumatic for him and me ! So I did switch him to the pill form and the other 4 cats were all on the pill form and did amazing ! I know the outcome is better with the injection but please if you absolutely can't do it there is another option! I am so thankful that there is treatment now and we for sure have to get the word out so that vets aren't just recommending euthanasia!
Thank you for sharing your story. I have a foster kitten who survived Panleuk and is now battling FIP. Your video about caring for a panleuk kitten helped me save his life, and now he continues to fight while he undergoes his GS treatment in the pill form. FIP Warriors are amazing. ❤
I hope Coco pulls through! She's beautiful. Panther kitties are my absolute favorite kitties. Hope she gets healthy and stays healthy. She couldn't have a better mom to take care of her. She's in good hands.
In 2018 I lost my dear boy Yuki for FIP, I noticed he stopped eating and took him to the vet, 3 days latter his lungs didn't stood the pressure form the liquid constantly forming in his abdomen. After that I started praying that some researcher were able find a treatment for this disease. I'm happy to know that my wish came true, Yuki couldn't be saved, but maybe many others will.
I lost my Dudley to the wet form of FIP a number of years ago. Watching him struggle to breathe was terrible. I'm so glad to know there is hope now for this terrible disease. I'm praying for you and Coco.
My foster kitten was diagnosed with FIP 3 days ago. We started treatment yesterday. I told him we will fight this together. He’s had it rough, but he’s so strong!🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
Thank you so much for sharing this. You are potentially bringing hope to millions. ❤️❤️❤️ Lost my baby Kiku in the 80's most likely to FIP brought on by immunocompromised health. Having no treatments gutted me.
I lost my very first kitten to FIP back in 2015. I didn’t realize he was sick until I took him to his first vet visit after picking him up from the shelter. I had him for about a week, and I just hope I gave him the best week of his life. I’m so sorry you have to go through this, but I have hope in your abilities and resources :)
I'm so sorry to hear you and Coco are going through this, but thank you for the information and the resources. I wish I had known about this when my four month old kitten, Dagger, was diagnosed with FIP in August of 2019. The vet told us the best thing to do for him was put him to sleep, so we did. I hope no one else has to go through that.
I'm so sorry that Coco and you are going through this I do want to share that one of my foster kittens went to a great home with a human daddy that loves his kitties. Oreo developed FIP and was given the experimental regimen and it was successful and is living a healthy life right now I wish the same for Coco ❤
I'm sorry to hear your precious kitty not well. One thing among many very valuable things is that you have some very good resources. I live in Reno and I find it challenging just to find a competent feline vet!! I lost Tigger, a 16+yo gorgeous lynx point to abdominal tumors. Two different vets & never got the proper care & help. And living by myself makes it even more difficult to care for a cat. So, living in a nice, big city, with supportive people around you--you and your kitties are way ahead of any challenges you may find. You are lucky. I find your UA-cam videos very informative. Thank you and I wish you and Coco well!
This brought me to tears. We just found out our kitten has FIP and doing our best to stay positive while administering the treatment. Please pray for us friends. Our Cat Cheddar is a very loving family member and were hoping she gets well.

We are currently on this journey too. Kicking FIPs butt with pill form. We have occular dry form.
Kitten Lady, YOU GOT THIS
Thank you so much. You've probably saved a lot more cats just by sharing this, thank you so much.
Sorry you're going through this, hang in there Coco!

@@cloversantos4397 I did capsules for mine. Do you have an fip cat?
Wonderful news!
I did this for my cat! He has now been CURED for a little over a year.
I'm so happy your cat is still with us!
That’s so wonderful!
so happy for you and your kitty!
I'm so glad to hear this. FIP is brutal.
WONDERFUL !!!
I can’t wait until this treatment is readily available. It’s incredible to see a once fatal disease enter the space of curable.
My cat Sammy is an FIP survivor. This stuff works. I made a couple videos about this.
He had his first dose on July 13 and his last on October 4. Today is his first birthday.
Congratulations sammy on your recovery
Also happy birthday!
Happy Birthday Sammy! You are a special kitty!
How do you get your hands on the meds?
Happy Birthday and many many more!
Thank you for spreading the word! I found FIP Warriors 5.0 in 2020 when my cat Tiger was diagnosed. He’s been cured since October 2020. ❤️
That’s lovely! So glad for the both of you
So happy for you and your cat 🐱 ❤️Erika, where do you live? (I ask bc I live in Sweden and every vet-site I’ve been on says there’s no approved cure in Sweden..).
It is probably still experimental. But why not a trial in Sweden?
@@tovejansson7113 I'm in Canada but it's still considered experimental.
Plz I found fip on may cat how can I get Medicine
My cat Charlie passed away in 2020 of FIP we are still devastated by his loss. We adopted Chloe as a kitten and a month later she was diagnosed with wet FIP we found out there is now treatment and after 3 months of daily injections and tears 😭 she is now in observation. We are thankful to FIP Warriors for their support and helping locate vaccines for Chloe. Hope is there! 🥰
So encouraging to hear this!
My cat passed in the same year as Charlie. Sending love, it really sucked and I understand the pain. I have Bella now and she channels the energy of Mike D (my cat that passed away from the same), they're playing together in another place. Sending love
My sister just put her cat to sleep because she had FIP , I wanted her to get treatment, I’m so sad
What is ocular FIP?
I thought FIP affected kittens or cats under 1yr.
I'm sorry and hope you can safely get thru this. Prayers for the kitty
I lost a shelter kitten to FIP and I think about her every day. I hope Coco pulls through
Me too! He was so beautiful and he loved my other cat so much, they loved each other so much. This was over 7 years ago, we put him down cause his lungs kept filling up with fluid. Didn’t know it could be helped 😢 kinda makes me mad now
@@islandgurl4123 It couldn’t at the time. This medication has only been out for a couple of years.
@@Raz3477x ah okay thank you
I wish they would have had treatment when my cat had FIP.. this was about 15 years ago and there was nothing the vets could do, so my cat passed away when she wasn't even one year old... It was very traumatic, especially since I was still a child.
Good luck to Coco and you ❤️
This is depressing
I’m sorry 😭
I said the same thing. I would have done anything to save my sweet Lovey.
We lost our kitty to FIPs. We tried to treat but then he had a bowel obstruction so we put him to sleep. It is horrible. But thanks to those who help us treat our loved furries. Thank you for talking about this.
Put him to sleep 😭 that's so sad 🥺 I hope you're doing okay now ❤️
So sorry for your loss
I pray this works for both of you. Thank you for talking about it. 🐾🐱💙🐈🦋😽💜
We had the exact same situation, my kitty wasn't able to pee or pass stool, I was trying to squeeze his bladder so that he could empty it with our help. His health worsened overnight and we had to put him to sleep today, so heartbreaking. My kiwi joined the cat heaven today
That is really sad 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Absolutely heartbroken for you Hannah but have lots of hope that these treatments are going to work for your sweet girl. I lost my beloved black kitty Charlie to FIP a couple years ago. Sending so much love to you and Coco ❤️
❤️🩹❤️
My cat may have it. I will know tomorrow morning 😢
Good luck what you treating your baby with
these GS injections are painful , use EMLA cream nubbing cream and gabapentin
Shit I just hit 42 and I myself twitch in bed or as start getting tired..It started happening several years ago now but has progressively gotten worse in the last 2 years and I'm almost afraid to go to the doctors and find out why..I know it's something neurological as I've had multiple concussions over the years and a bad accident in '00 that left me with a broken neck, broken wrist, broken ribs, and slew of other issues. Worst part is the problems that arise yrs later on..
@@dieseldabz7104 Oh no thats awful. I’m sorry that happened to you, I hope you can get it figured out
That is not a good sigh to still have neuroligical issues that far in. If you are using injection and not getting in without stress and full amount it may be the issue.
My cat Kiwi was on death’s doorstep down to 4 lbs. and FIP Warriors saved his life. He is now up to 8 lbs and is back to being healthy and happy
We hope that sweet Coco feels better really soon. Hang in there Hannah.
Prayers for Coco's healing. Prayers for wisdom and courage for you, Hannah.
My baby was diagnosed with fip just today. . In between teary eyes .. watching this gave me hope. Thank you
how's your baby now?
Is it FIP ?

Hoping that your beloved Coco recovers from her illnesses. She's in the best hands under your care and you both are very lucky to have each other.
Take care.
Wishing you the best with Coco. She’s so lucky to have an advocate like you helping her through her illness
How long did it take to cure him? I'm very happy for you
@@leoniek6351 Thank you, he got for 84 days = 12 weeks every day one injection. It was a really hard time for him and for me, but we made it, and now he doesn't have to take any medicine anymore 😊😊
How do I order?
When She was saying Coco's name and Coco started meowing back.....❤❤❤
I've treated two of my cats for FIP. 84 days of injections, and the kitties hated it, but it worked. I wish you the best of luck. It's a tough road, but it's very likely that you will succeed.
I wish you the best and hope she'll have a speedy recovery. I know it's difficult, but I know you'll do everything and give them your best, and that's all you can do ❤
You don’t deserve another sick cat, another sick friend and the heartbreak it brings. Stay strong!!
Our Charlie was 3 years old when diagnosed with FIP. We treated him for 84 days and today he is healthy, playful cat as he used to be.

How did you get in contact with someone for treatment? I created a new fb account to join the group but they haven't accepted me. I'm scared they won't accept me into the group and I won't be able to get help for my little cat Finn
Hi how much is it?

I lost my two kittens a few years ago when the disease was still untreatable. Hope Coco gets better soon!
She's a beautiful girl, and she's in very good hands -- give her kissies and hugs from us all. Wishing her the very best!
Go Coco! You got this! My daughters little guy is over two years post treatment now because of FIP Warriors 5.0!
Praying for sweet Coco's complete recovery. Stay strong for her! I know you'll do everything to get her well and healthy again.
The best news I have had in years. I have been rescuing abused cats for almost 30 years . Thank you for the information . My oldest baby will be 21 in april and this will such good news to her if she should need it. Again, thank you.
My heart goes out to you and Coco. I know she has the best possible parent and nurse in you, you both got this!!!
thank you so much for sharing this story!
You've given Coco a good life up to this point, and she can still have one now, no matter how long or short of a time that will be.
This has given me so much hope. Thank you!!! My kitty got his first treatment this morning. I'm hoping and praying it works. 🐱🐾❤️
I'm so sorry that Coco and you are going through this
I do want to share that one of my foster kittens went to a great home with a human daddy that loves his kitties. Oreo developed FIP and was given the experimental regimen and it was successful and is living a healthy life right now
I wish the same for Coco ❤
Stay strong ❤
