Thanks for these vids Blair! Love your playing. I have had a 7x14 10 ply Ayotte with wood hoops for over 20 years it’s been on almost every recording session I’ve ever done and as soon as it comes out it doesn’t leave the stand! Engineers love it!
Hi Blair, I just got a late 90's cherry red gloss custom made wood hoop Ayotte 6pc kit(20, 10, 12, 14, 15) with an Ayotte Professional Maple DS 5x14 stainless steel snare for my golf cart. The original owner said they cost him $6800 and waited 8 months for them. Does that seem kosher?? I wonder what this kit is worth??? It's in immaculate condition
Piccolos can really surprise sometimes. You got a great one. The high tuning has plenty of crack for my taste. Really versatile, especially with such a thick shell. Eyes closed, tuned down and dampened with loose snares, you could mistake it for a much bigger drum. I've heard that kind of sound from A&F snares, which are over $2K !!. Another jack of all trades snare ;:-)
That Ayotte snare sounds perfect!
That’s an awesome snare! It’d be super cool to have one like that in my collection
you´re getting 20 tones from the same snare. awesome!
Nice playing

Thanks Coki!

Lovin it! What mic is this running through?
Sounding fantastic again; what ride cymbal are you using here? Also, do you give yourself a metronome for these demonstrations?
This is a 22" Agop Signature Ride. No metronome on these...just playing.
Awesome!! what crash are you using here?
That's an Agop 19" 30th Anniversary Crash. @istanbulagop
