I know I’m not the only one who truly LOVES watching your precise and careful sewing techniques. It really shows me that an immaculate finished product does not happen by chance; it is thanks to detailed measuring and planning. It is like meditation for me watching you sew! Thanks for not skipping over a single detail.

This has got to be one of the best tutorials I have ever watched. You guide the sewer through every detail carefully and precisely. Some of us are having to teach ourselves from scratch and are only able to operate a sewing machine at the minimum level, with many mishaps and seam ripping along the way. It took me a while, stopping and starting your video over and over moving between the computer screen and my sewing machine, but I managed to complete a project without a single hitch. You are a first class teacher. Thank you so much.

Rosie, I made these a long time ago from your excellent video, and they came out great! Now I just came back, and I was so rusty that because I didn't pay very close attention to the final sutures around the outside zipper areas (where the interiors and exteriors need to align perfectly), the bags came out a little imperfect. I see how important it is to fully follow what you say. That being said, the point here is that you have EXCELLENT instruction and pay close attention to the important details - not all videos for the same bag do that. Thank you! You are a PRO! Back to making more zipper bags.... but even better this time!!!

This is just a repetition from other commenters but honestly you are a wonderful teacher! The video is shot so that you can easily see all the detail. Your descriptions are clear and concise. Your design is very precise and logical. I learned so many skills that I can apply to other zipper projects. I have been sewing for 62 years and I always love learning new efficient techniques. Thanks so much.

If you cut the end of the zipper that has the slider FIRST, and add the tab rather than the closed end, you can't "forget" to make sure the zipper tab is in the middle! This is the BEST tutorial for zipper tabs. I have directed many people here.

It helped to see you topstitch the sides of the zipper and the tabs. In other videos, that rectangle was not shown and it is necessary to leave room to open the seams in order to create the side seams. Thank you.

I'd like to add my thanks to you for this excellent video. I've been making pouches for sale for four years now (my retirement project), and I have struggled with zipper side dents on one particular item. My customers don't seem to care, but I've always been a bit embarrassed by the unprofessional look of dented sides. I saved this video to Pinterest some time ago and got around to looking at it last night. I've watched other videos and followed their instructions carefully, but I have never achieved the result I want. Finally, the method that works! As others have said, I appreciate your clear, precise instructions--with no unnecessary commentary--and great camera work. Thank you, Rosie. You have a new subscriber!

I have had a lot of nervous reticence (paralyzing anxiety, really...) in creating a pillow case because the only zipper i could find is waaaaaaaaaay too long!
