Is there ever any issues with accents when talking to ATC? I can see how some dialects could be confusing to understand but it seems to never be an issue
I see you guys taking off all the time here in Miami! The 380's I mean. One question, why does the Airbus appear to go so slow on take off? Does it have a slower take off speed. Love your vids.
@@nankervisj that makes a lot of sense. Thank you. She looks so peaceful taking off. A little fat for my liking haha, I'm more of a 747 guy. But still is a bad ass plane.
They're a HUD (a Heads Up Display), it presents information to the pilot and allows them to focus and not need to look down at the instrument panels. It's very similar, if not, the same as fighter jets.

Fantastic plane from a passenger perspective, just come off one after a 16hr flight to NZ and feel better than I have done after some short haul flights on lesser aircraft. Will be sorry to see it go
This is BANANAS! I've always wanted to sit in the cockpit of an A380 during takeoff, and I kinda just did. Thanks a million!

Precisely

Factual information

I love how you can see the pilot monitoring, actively monitoring everything. His eyes are dashing from one thing to the next. Great takeoff!

Where are the cupholders for fountain drinks?
If they hit turbulence & the drinks spill does it mess up the controls ?
They’re by the pilots elbows.
Never knew until now that A380's come equipped with HUD.
I'm piloting with a side stick!
This is a very valuable video!
It's crazy how similar the A380 cockpit is to the RO320, the buttons do the same things, there are just more of them, like fuel pumps, and batteries
Nice watch, thanks!

Actually this is the first time 'am seeing HUD on A380....it it by default there or modified?
Customer option. I believe Qatar Airways have it installed on their A380s as well.
1:27 as soon as the landing gear bay doors close the wind turbulance dies down and it gets so quiet.
Any particular reason CM2 does not have his hand resting on the side-stick? It’s standard practice and Airbus SOP 😳
