Dan every town in Ireland gets quiet after 4 o'clock, people have finished shopping. I love Wexford town, always busy when I visited, usually packed with tourists, people very friendly, great places to eat, I think you should go back soon to capture the essence of the place😲😲
I nearly went to Wexford once!! I was working on the cruise ships and we’d just done the transatlantic, but it was too tough to tender!!! Bad times. Glad to see it through your eyes. That’s a good parking price. I enjoyed views of the river and bridge. The Main Street looks lovely. Plenty of pubs! Some of those old shop fronts are stunning. Maybe I’ll get to Wexford one day! Cheers for sharing this video 🍻
I spent a number of years living in Wexford town. I left some time ago and still miss certain icons. My most memorable icon was Frank Sinnott with whom I engaged in may scholarly discourses on Main Street. The other was Maggie Hurley who sat on the footpath near the Bull Ring crooning: "I'm nobody's child" for hours at a time.
It looks a little like many UK towns, which surprises me as I've been looking at Galway and Kilarney on here and they are very different. I was thinking of retiring over there from Manchester as my mother was Irish, but although I love the look of some of the towns and countryside over on the West, I worry about the weather! I wonder how Wexford countryside compares?
Great tour Don if you get an opportunity i would highly recommend Co Kilkenny, & Galway great atmosphere with loads lively pubs restaurants Musician's & Dancers on the streets💯🙂👍
Had lunch in MI yesterday great food and very large portions right in Redmond Square beside McCauleys well worth a visit if you are in Wexford Town. The Redmond memorial is a disgrace the council should be ashamed that it is in such a state of disrepair, have some pride in the town for Gods sake.
Can anybody help me.i need a break .just lost my husband's.lm hoping for a hotel in the town .near train station.ied really appreciate this.many thanks.caroly dublin

Frank unfortunately passed away a few years ago, Maggie is still singing although rarely these days. Both great characters
