I believe you were thinking of dying intestate (without leaving a will) when you said that you were not going to leave your estate (property) to anybody. The greenway that you were on was part of the GNR. Another great video don ,I’ve been on that beautiful beach a number of times . By the way in 1917 the SS laurentic came up the same stretch of water ie lough swilly out past fanad head lighthouse where she struck 2german mines and sank with the loss of 354 lives. She was carrying a cargo of gold to pay Canada for help with the war effort .most of the gold was recovered I believe .

Croke Villas were the tenements near Croke Park that were boarded up. I think they were due to be knocked down and probably rebuilt. The stand of Croke Park that you were outside was the Cusack Stand. As you walked through Phibsboro (just before the Mater Hospital), you were in a neighbourhood that was similar to Corrie.

Next time you're in Dublin try Whyns hotel on Abbey Street,a gorgeous old boutique hotel and their sandwiches are so fresh,lovely clientele that goes there too
