German combo would be the Pz38(t) with a Ju-87 Stuka. You could also do the Panzer II with the Stuka. Its supposed to be a combo the Germans used while invading Poland and France.
F4U-1D (2x1000 pound bomb layout) and M4 Sherman with around 20-25 rounds to reduce the chance of your turret starting it’s own space program, it’s a really fun combo, and you can add the M10 and M4A1 as well.

Ridiculous to dogfight in an Dauntless? Early in WWII there was a shortage of dedicated fighter planes. So to fill the gaps the SBD was used without bombs, usually on CAP missions. Certainly the TBD Devastator wasn't gonna dog fight (well).

As much as I love low tier, I REALLY want the US minigun AA and a jet. I went from the first bomber in the tech tree all the way down to the PB4Y and I have the B19 I think unlocked and need to buy it all in like 3 days.
Although i know you are a pilot how you didnt put the indications for temps of oil and water in your info under the ammo count ?? I think it should help you a lot also you already know that but you can see both tas and ias in your hud you can change that too
