I like how Apollo behaves badly before telling himself: "You're a good bird". It's funny as well when he mimics your training dialogues and tells himself: "What's this? Touch. Purple." He's a great bird, mischievous or no! P.S. His imitation of Blue Jay calls is really good haha.
My friend had an Amazon that she was trying to teach to spell "parrot ". Pecky would spell "p...a...r...r...r...r" and then start over. She liked the sound of "r" I guess.❤❤❤❤❤❤

Does anyone know what that rapid beak vibration behavior is, which he starts doing at 4:30 and elsewhere periodically? Is this just Apollo making silly noises, or does it serve a purpose? Just curious.
My guess is that he’s just “crunching his beak”. My birds do that when they are comfortable. It could also be him trying to say something but I suspect he just likes how it feels.
