Good video Anthony! I was kinda feeling sorry for you about the trouble you were having, but I’m glad you fixed the problem. Enjoy your new yak brother!
What you think? Would you buy it haha I luv it I believe I fixed it added an extra set of washers made a tight fit now Had a good trip this last time video coming soon still fighting that wind
They have a new clip for the black drive box you can buy now for pretty cheap like $20? It's metal and screws in to the same slot as the original plastic one.
Thanks for videos on the water! Can you tell me if the drives are interchangeable with Hobie Mirage? I have a spare Mirage drive and would love to save more $$$.
Well I know a Hobie drive with reverse will not fit I tryed my buddies from his PA It fit perfectly except to fit in all the way down into the Vanhunks grooves the splines are too thick as for a regular Hobie drive I wouldn't know?
Just checking to see how your still doing with this kayak? I went into vanhunks in sarasots today and am in-between a few options... I am getting a tandem but have never had the pedals before so I kinds want to try this... let me know how it's still holding up for you
I did close to 7 miles this Saturday with no problem tho I noticed my front idler cable seems to have stretched then I recently visited the shop where I purchased mine at and there's has more beefer red cables I notified them on Facebook so there so post so send me those ones but well see and if they do I will give Vanhunks an excellent review on customer service
@@larasfishingchronicles9301 ohh also... how do the seat feel? My current kayaks have the soft seats and they are just okay but not nearly as beefy as these.
The seat is very comfortable the only things is the straps slip I solved the problem with tie wraps but I noticed the straps stretch but I guess I'm a big boy now but what I am impressed with the hardware of the seat I fish exclusively saltwater and not a hint of rust
@@larasfishingchronicles9301 thank you very much. We live right on the salt water so we be primarily in salt as well. I am trying to explor more of the springs and have done 1 river and 2 springs so far. To new adventures! Thank you for the reply
