When I was 18 (long ago) I saw a 1969 Barracuda Formula S, black with red interior sitting in the weeds. The glass was gone, so the interior was destroyed. It was sitting on 4 flat tires and was heavily rusted out. I was driving a '70 Duster 340 and really wanted another A-body. I offered the guy $1000 and he said, "Are you kidding?! This thing is rare." So I offered $2000. "No way, you're crazy?" Being only 18 that was the extent of my finances.
Fast forward to me now 46 years old and I still see those 67-69 Barracudas as the one that got away. The car you're selling looks incredible but since it's an M-code I believe it is still out of my reach. Oh the irony. LOL
Had a 69 fastback with a measly 318, but I loved it. Bought it for $500 in 1978, got a trade-in value of $500 for a pickup. My kids still hate me.
I'm in love.
we had a 68 when I was growing up, my dad just gave it away one day...
Excellent video & beautiful '69 Barracuda!!
That would be the one I want! Or a 340 Formula S!😄
