Having played a few tournament adventures which share similarities with ToH, I think they often reward caution, a player can survive a lot of it by holding back and letting others go first. Now while that might be considered a clever tactic, if everyone does it, then the adventure goes nowhere.
Cheers for the kind comment, much appreciated. There's a lot to like in here, and it does serve a purpose, I just don't think it works particularly well with an established party, Makes for a decent one off though.
Continuing to be astounded at the NHS, my wife is now getting a Physiotherapist attending her three times a week in our home. The treatment quality is phenomenal.
It would certainly add a certain edge to life, knowing that we had to choose between health and keeping our home. The adrenaline rush I'm sure would make us appreciate life far more. :D
I’ve stopped listening at just over 8 minutes in, to avoid more spoilers, because I might play in this module some day. How about you clearly demarcate & divide your review videos into spoiler sections & spoiler-free sections, so we potential players can listen to only the spoiler-free sections? You’ll get more listeners that way. 🤗
Cheers for the thoughtful suggestion, when I started doing the Retro Adventure videos I kind of thought it was for Gamesmasters only, so spoilers were never a consideration. But it could be an idea to do a spoiler free part, and then drop into the full review. Thanks for giving me something to consider.
Tomb of Horrors awards cleverness and punishes cockiness’s. The dark souls of AD&D.

Hope your wife heals up quickly
This sounds like an adventure that would be good to steal ideas from to weaken a party

Getting a specialist out within a week is great.

Glad to hear your wife was well taken care of!
Many thanks, and she continues to be, as the NHS keeps being downright amazing.
Sorry to hear about your wife Fred, hope she`s feeling better soon
Cheers mate, much appreciated.
Seems like it could be a laugh if 10-20 people played it with throwaway characters
Actually that does sound a lot of fun. Mob tactics against the most dangerous dungeon :D

Sure, being healthy and well taken care of is great. But think how much more you would appreciate it if you were bankrupt!
