Hi. Can you make also lines with Sol Nova?
I love the sol nova for thin lines up to 9 RL. The machine is super stable and not a lot of vibration. Bigger than 9 I usually struggle to get them in on one pass. But that is just my personal experience.
What voltage do you recommend for color packing?
Depending on your hand speed, a low voltage is recommended, you have to go very slow, so you have to use a pretty low voltage
Needle depth? Or how much out from tip?
You can feel it with vibration. And try out different needle depths 2-3 mm. Riding off the tube and also not
Can u colourpack w a 1207RS on smaller pieces?
I’m not an expert but this is my understanding:
Yes / it depends. you could color pack with any needle but some would be less efficient. It is not ideal to hit the same area of skin repeatedly, so if you tried color packing with a 1203RL it would be possible on very small parts, but generally so inefficient that it’s far from optimal.
So yea you can use a RS but this would usually be for packing color in detailed places, like the corners of a small star. If it was a tiny tattoo you could color it completely with a RS, but it depends on the size of the tattoo.
I like curved mags because you get more options for variation.
You should practice on fake skin and then on your leg or a willing person who understands you’re learning. I think a 1207CM is a good size to try color packing for small pieces.
Good luck be safe 🙏
hey there are you guys use M1 or M2 needles ?

Sol Nova I think
good commercial for cheyenne i guess
