Hi think your evaluation on the Mindbender 89 was right on. I was up in the air between the two and picked up last year's Mindbender 89 which apparently except for the deck is the same as this year's edition. The versatility of the Mindbender has been coming through this winter as my eastern conditions have been really variable and this ski has been comfortable in all sorts of conditions. I don't find that it sacrifices in the stability and carving ability either. Used to ski on a Volkl 81 and while i can't compare that ski to the up to 2024 Kendo 88 I understand your " Kendo feel " comment. Great review!

What kind of length recommendations do you give for Kendo?

What is your height/weight? These are stable so no need to go super long. If you prefer tighter turns you can go shorter and if you prefer longer turns and speed you can go longer.

@@TheSkiMonster Hi, I’m 5’11” 163lbs. I’m quessing between 170 and 177. I rather make tighter than longer turns. Speed is not problem also.
