Wow Detroit Michigan back in the day
I was 15 in 79 in HS, and I had some of the outfits the girls were wearing. I'm from the Bronx, and I'm happy to have come across this gem. The kids looked great and had fun. Today, kids' faces are buried in their phones and tick tock.
I was 16 in 1979, and I remember watching the Scene at 6:00 pm on nights when we didn’t have football or baseball practice. Fun times!!!

At 2:45 in this video is my homie from Cooley High named Augustus Wong.
I was living in LA in 1987, ran into him dancing on the corner in LA and he told me he was now a Soul Train dancer.
If you ever look at Game 6 of the 1988 NBA Finals when Isiah Thomas was killing LA, you will see Augustus standing under the basket as Isiah Thomas was on the floor in pain after hurting his ankle.
I'm not from here but one thing I realize is that the dressing then was very sharp and respectful , unlike nowadays everyone including women wanna be seen dressed as gangsters rough un Kempt hair tattoo every inch of the body I wonder what happened along the way

@@myronbledsoe44 the performers on this show were Brainstorm. A thorough search of my records did not produce any results for and the Don Magic Soulful Strutters. Unfortunately, all the shows were not saved back then.
