You forgot to mention that most of the time, the only reason why those banks in the past suffered so many threats of bank runs, was because the fractional reserve practice was widespread. This means that the banks usually lent more money than they actually had in reserves, essentially creating more money out of thin air and expanding the monetary base. Now in a free market, the fractional reserve practice would be a fraud, but today is not only legalized but still widespread, the difference is that this is now monopolized by Central Banks. You don't need Central Banks, only fraudulent bankers need a Central Bank or Government, to pay their bills.

"Morgan offered a syndicate of Us and European investors who could work together to invest gold back into the government's coffers. Using an outdated loophole from an earlier civil war law, Morgan demonstrated how the treasury could buy gold from Morgan's private syndicate, building up their dwindling reserves and plugging the leak. More importantly, the loophole enabled the president's administration to bypass congress, a convenient way for Cleveland to make an immediate decision."

Yeah cause the him and the other bankers were the ones that manipulated the bankcruocy of America in the first place. BOTH TIMES. knowing they would be the only ones that could save America, with their final goal being to get rid of our operation of an honest money system and have the federal reserve control all currency and basically lending every dollar with debt attached to it, with insane interest rates, meaning America would be paying of the debt forever and it would be an endless cycle of loaning and paying back , that’s when social security numbers and the irs were created and every American citizen became collateral and majority of the taxes we pay go towards paying back the federal reserve , which is privately owned by the bankers not the government. It was all a calculated plan for them to control America and its economy. Don’t know why he’s portraying this guy and the bankers to be martyrs for our country, there the ones that destroyed it and continue to destroy it til this day 😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️💯💯💯

This is amazing. Character is a serious thing. They say 40million but if you converted all his assets to $$ that figure would be enormous. Its his impact that he had on industries and on the country as a whole thats impressive. He was truthful, brutally honest...thats what a lot of them could not take about him. But even today, being honest and truthful would make you be hated. Excellent documentary
