- In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 1975 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

This is not a car. THIS IS ART!!!!
the one car I'd never touch in modifications. was built perfect right off the line.
They need a new exhaust, 2.5" single exhaust is bad enough but the factory cat really choked it. Run a 2.5" into 3" y-pipe and 3" back to a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler and no cat, it'll run a lot better and still be quiet, just a very mild rumble.
@@AdmiralRustyShackleford very true and it would breath alot better too might pick up a few ponies they were torque motors not race but yes exhaust like you said would wake it up for suurre
@@AdmiralRustyShackleford ima try that out on my 75 eldorado
You'd totally need to upgrade the stereo. Swap out the radio and speakers.
You can also port the exhaust manifolds because they're restricted.
Probably the best-ever non-4WD vehicle for driving in snow.
I said "love that horn" the exact same time Kyle did haha!!!
My dream car, the 75-78 Eldorado or the 75-76 Coupe DeVille, I think they’re beautiful.
Just bought a 2000 deville for $1,500 with 78,500 miles on it
This is probably one of the nicest cars ever made! It doesn't matter where you drive on of these, everyone will look!
Side Note: It looks so comfy!!!
Another true American classic....
The pimp car of my dreams!
these are my favorite cadillac models, and i have been after one of these for years now, and i've been in love with them since i first saw one in a movie when i was too young to even know what a cadillac actually was here in germany. unfortunately you hardly ever get anywhere near them here in germany and if you do they are not for sale, understandably so as this embodies a very distinctive era and you can't help but admire them if you are lucky and get to see one going down the road. :)
"Rock and Roll Band" by Boston. Now when you do tours of old cars like this one, that's the kind of music that should be playing on the radio, songs that were popular back in the 70s and 80s. Maybe you purposely tune into a station that plays classic 70s rock everytime you turn on the radio in old cars. It would be awesome if one of your car tour videos has the Cars' song "Shake it up" playing on the radio!
+Matthew Rivera i remember there was one video of either a 70s or 80s car you did a tour of that had the George Thorgood song "Move it on Over" playing when you turned on the radio. Which car was that?
This was back when they made actual Cadillacs.
and weighed more than an F-350
I love it when you review these classy old cars, so much fun!
I own a 73 red/red El Dorado Convertible. Car is absolutely beautiful, drives like you're on a cloud! It's also got about 60 more horsepower than this model, as every year from 73 on had a decrease in both power and fuel economy due to tighter emission regulations.
finally a cadillac eldorado review whit proper terms and some one who knows how to review a cadillac .You know your stuff kido
This is awesome! I am honestly gaining a greater overall appreciation for all of these classic vehicles (along with the newer ones). Love all your vids and look forward to them everyday :D
Although I don't like the looks of the '70s Eldorado, I appreciate the looks of this thing back in the day. Just too bad most of the old cars are not seen on the road anymore.
It’s my dream to get a 1975 Cadillac Eldorado, hopefully one day I’ll get it.
1975: Cadillac Elrorado
2020: Teska Cybertruck
When Cadillacs were real.
Maybe in styling and comfort, but the oil crisis made all cars go downhill with the ridiculous restrictions. A huge engine that wasn't even putting out 200hp is atrocious, especially compared to the 60's equivalents of any brand.
Im loving that aftermarket stereo in the glovebox that is awesome
Very good In Depth Tour!!! Thanks
What a beautiful car! Great vid as always Kyle!
Thanks Kyle. This is one sweet Caddy. I had a 1978 4-door Caddy with the 425 engine and an '85 with the 4.1L engine. Then later I had a 5.7L Chevy 350 engine.
one hell of a car right there!!! awesome video
love classics cars, keep it coming.
I cant wait to get mine on the road n looking like this
6:32 - My favorite song by Boston, Rock and Roll Band! Rock on!

Great job kyle keep uo the great work
kyle just want to say ur videos r great!
7:25 OMG those 70's buzzers were quite stressing xD LOL
1:31 gotta love that classic Cadillac horn.
Very beautiful Cadillac! American luxury at it's best during the 70's. MAN that front hood is LONG!!!
I love the look of an old Eldo.
You guys forget the fact that these engines were build for TQ and not HP
+Morten Ramsing They sure weren't built for economy.
Nice classic car!
@QuentinPhillipsTV I enjoy seeing the old cars- its nice seeing how cars have transitioned through the years. I'm sure many agree.
Best of Cadillac !! :)
I like that sound at startup at 1:22 which you hear on a lot of old GM V8 and V6 engines.
I love the startup sound
Wow Kyle! who gives u these huge variety of classic cars? you are a champion..good videos..Thanks!
Boss Hoggs Caddy!!! -Great vids Kyle , Thanks!
just beautiful.. :) Thanks

Beautiful car!
good lord what a nice car if i had the money just to keep it mint . what a nice car
FINALLY! Not the 302nd viewer on any video that I get because I subscribed. Great car. Gotta love those land yachts from the 70's and 80's =).
Great car!!!
what a Cadillac should be, Good job +)
Very nice Very Clean!
Thats a huge engine!
Very nice leather interior :D
beautiful.
I'm addidcted in classic cars!!
Thank you for sharing Kyle. This was a nice one to see. It is a shame there are no more large "American" cars anymore. Lincoln Town Car and DTS are on their way out.
i like the bench seats!
May have had low HP, but had well over 500 ft/lbs of torque. Most Eldos had a 3.07 final drive. They were stout enough to be used as replacement motors in 1973-1978 GMC motorhomes in place of the factory Olds 455's.Those weigh 15000 lbs & had little trouble running to near 100 flat out.
This year Cadillac 500 V8 only produced 210 horsepower with 380 ft/lbs of torque. It's glory days were in 1969 and 170 where it made 400 horsepower with 550 ft/lbs of torque.
The Cadillac Queen
Wonderfull old times.
This guys got 2 Eldo convs and that 63 Tbird conv?! WOOOOOOOOW!!!!!
Now that's a real car(:
Beautiful Caddy! Looks like it is out of a Stephen King movie.
I love Cadillacs
instant executive status being in this car
i must sayyou rly suit the car with that hat on :)
Haha, been looking forward to this one.
I'd love to see my original mini cooper next to that!
just a beautiful car and a great video kyle. but one thing im wondering is why was there a CT plate in the front? lol
Suddenly I have a chance to buy one of these that is identical to this car for $ 4,500. Not a bad deal and this Monday is a Monday to look forward to!
nice video kyle, sweet car. Do you think you can review a 2007-08 GMC 1500 Sierra Denali ???? that would be awesome, thanks!
Perfect ....
Only thing I notice is I don't hear the distinctive **click** from the automatic seat back release when either door was opened, to save Urself from having to reach and do it Urself, manually...lol... then it would lock again when either door was closed, which was standard on these, and any other Coupes...we had a loaded '75 Coupe de Ville in Knickerbocker Tan Firemist with a White Factory Cabriolet roof and Power glass Moonroof...LOVED that Car, and have been looking to buy it back...lol...
Sexy car. My neighbor had a car like this I was in love with it every time he started it. He moved and I was so hurt
Hi Kyle , big car daddy. I love your old car videos , I love every thing about you . don't worry your'e not my type.
These have been my favoride cars for ever , but been to scared to own one for daily drive.
I drive all my cars , do you(or some one) think it's possible or too much problem ????
180 hp from a 500 cui engine (8.1 liters, roughly). God damn those were some painfully inefficient engines
Three bedrooms in a bad neighborhood It's 8.19 liters, so 8.2 roughly.
it could pull a house around though
7mpg city for this heavy car 5k lbs
But it has over 350 torque at 2k rpms. Thats impressive lol
Specs on my 1975 eldorodo convertible has the 500ci 8.2 and it's pushing 425hp and 550ft of torque at the wheels. His exhaust is not what it should be. Mines dual piped with the original rectangle square tips at the end of the exhaust. Not a single pipe. So something is wrong here.
Dang, you could land a freaking plane on that thing!
The red thing on the steering wheel is the remote control for the Blaupunkt radio that was installed.
Boss Hogg!!!
This guy sure has tons of cool classics. How'd you even come across him Kyle haha
It makes well over 300 ft-lbs of torque. These cars were not only massive, they were really speedy. They weren't fast off the line mind you, but once they were rolling, you'd need quite a bit of power to outrun one of these.
Best part about this Cadillac = the factory 8-Track deck :-)
@celsovera91
I thought too ... but I think the other one was a 76 model, had black interior and the after market radio wasn't in the glove box ;)
@fballev55 It's the remote control for the Blaupunkt radio that was installed.
@saabkyle04 positive it didlt flip over to 128k?, anyhoo alother question, didnt you do an eldorado a long while back, a different one?
@QuentinPhillipsTVzThere is a HUGE transition Cadillac has made from this era to the modern Cadillacs. The size, interior elements, technology, etc.
They don't make the Model T either, but that doesn't mean it didn't have any impact on modern day automobiles.
11:45 superior bass horn !!!!!!!!!!
Yeah!!!! like in Fear and Loasing in Las Vegas )) but white . Cool Caddy. The best Convertible ever is from 75 ..
Hey It's the 63 T-Bird you videod next to the Eldorado lol
thats a badass pimp mobile yeah
@celsovera91
I thought too ... But the over one had black interior and after market radio wasn't in the glove box ;)
Oh man, I want it!
For sale?
That is awesome.
Oh and what is that thing with the buttons on the steering wheel? I don't think you've explained it in the video.
@fballev55
it's an Mp3 player
because the car didn't have ant CD player
so you work with that Mp3 Player that works on radio waves
I was just wondering if you could maybe do the rv infront pf ur genesis
hey kyle,
do you know why GM didnt bother with RPM , battery voltage, etc, gauges during the 70s and 80s?
@Doncreationsur i would guess its a remote for the modern day blaupunkt head unit mounted inside the glove box...
Only modification is need it for this car is to increase the engine compression you might get 300hp+ and install straight pipe dual exhaust
