1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Review

- Since most everyone knows I'm a huge fan of these older GM luxury sedans (being I just purchased a 1995 buick roadmaster limited) I always try to film these as well as other B and D bodies whenever I get the chance, to try and preserve these legendary american sedans through video for everyones enjoyment :) In this video I give a full in depth review of the 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

These Fleetwoods, along with the other B-bodies and Town Cars were the last great American sedans. Smooth, comfortable, spacious, quiet. And now they're pretty much considered classic cars.
You are very right, a few years ago I was sure Cadillac was going to make the Sixteen. Then for some reason it got canceled.
Hopefully the CT8 (if ever finished) will be the new Fleetwood.
This is a D body
MrTheMiguelox how can you tell?
It's Known. Cadillacs were never B bodys, B bodys were used for the upper pontiacs, oldsmobiles and smaller buicks until 1958, when it became used also by chevrolets and pontiacs. Cadillacs, upper level buicks and olds were C bodys. In 1985 GM donsized it's c bodys making them FWD, the Big Cadillac fleetwood brougham became a D body until it's demise in 1996.
I must drive one of these before I die. I love big American Auto’s.
I have a Fleetwood 96 , An estate wag 96 , and backups …
Back when Cadillac still meant luxury. These cars had space; you could fit 4 people in the back. Know it's all bucket seats, no space...look like sports cars. This is a fucking real luxury sedan.
Indeed
HUGE car! I sat in one when I was about 6 years old and they are VERY intimidating and that horn is awesome!
What a car, like very much USA cars, they have soul.
Xistory
Xistory you gotta love Cadillac
Last of the real Cadillacs...
Not at all.
CEOkiller wrong
New Cadillac CTS with the LS v8 is one hell of a car
@@starxlr7863 the 04 sls was the last 8n my opinion
@@bigsmoke2924 That was the last Seville but the last real full size V8 Cadillac was the Deville/DTS for 2011. Also the last year for the Lincoln Town Car as its rival.
This is always the car that comes to my mind whenever I see anything associated with Cadillac. I want one, I want one! :)
This is one of my favorite cars of all time! Especially with the LT1!
A cruise ship on wheels.
I recently bought one with 85,000 miles all i can say is Wow its a great car
Have you had any problems with it?
I like these sedans more!! Brilliant job bro.
i just remember as a 7 year old, i thought these cadillacs were SO epic and luxurious! my eyes used to get wide every time i would ride in my uncles. MAN. thank you for THIS, kyle.
I want cars like that to come back :(( Why nowadays everyone loves inline engines and cars packed with cheap plastic?
cars nowadays are made to a cheap budget and of poor quality plastics.
Really awful now you get cheap ass fabric seats that look like plastic lol
just cheap nasty throwaway cars that don't last. Which is in direct juxtaposition to the environmentally conscious people complaining that old cars kill the environment yet the pump out all these cheap cars that don't last and use more resources.
stupid

You can thank gov't regulations & environment worship for a good deal of that. To get cars like that back, we'd have to fix a lot of stupid. :P
cuz it's safer and barely breaks

My friend has this very type of Caddy but in a very pretty dark green. Very much a road trip car.
Great video as always Kyle! I too love those older GM big sedans.
Clean and Mean! I'd buy this car. Thanks for the showcase Kyle!
I am really starting to fall in love with these cars. I have had my 1996 Deville since new, and it is in mint condition thanks to it being in my climate and humidity controlled garage its entire life. Not driven in rain or snow. Please find me one of these in my Deville condition to fill my 2nd bay.
Beautiful car to drive and very powerful.Just bought one, love it.
I fell blessed I got to drive one of these.
I miss these cars
2:07 such an awesome bellowing horn. Gave me goosebumps just listening to it.
0-60 MPH in 8.5 seconds
That was so much for such full side sedan.
Not bad on these days.
In college, I worked at a residential condominium where the residents all had luxury cars, several of the residents even owning their own limousines. Of all the cars I drove, I always wanted this model, as I knew that it could be the one luxury car that might be financially attainable for me decades later. I was very disappointed when it was discontinued, and now, three decades later, I don’t care for the look of any Cadillac models. I’ll just keep my money.
Wonderful and very interesting car. No words to describe it.
Love the videos. Just saw the video of your sisters cruze. It's a beautiful car. Congrats to her. We are Gm people we won't own anything but. Great videos thanks for making them. This caddy is awesome. We have a 2013 Xts
Great car. I drove it in Saudi Arabia in 1996. Greetings from Istanbul...
man you know every thing about these cars... haha
great video as always!
gotta love old gm cars, such a perfect car to blast gin n juice in at full volume
Kyle, you forgot to mention that this was the quietest car ever tested by Motor Trend magazine. Another thing. You mentioned that the steering doesn't allow you to feel the road. In a luxury car, you should NEVER feel the road through the steering wheel. That is the German definition of a luxury car. We want AMERICAN luxury cars.
Wish they sold these in Australia
I'd have one by now
Melbourneboy1984 You would have LOVED it too. :)
+Wayne Johnson
I have a Lincoln LSC which is like the only one in the country I do believe 😊 well hope anyway hehe.
I love American cars but never seen any of these here and the cost to import one is a bit expensive not to mention that there doesn't seem to be many around anymore ! hope that cash for clunkers scheme didn't kill all the nice American cars of yesterday as when old cars are gone they are gone for good. New cars are boring and all look the same lately.....
Melbourneboy1984 The Cash for Clunker's program was a complete failure. 70% of those who participated went out and bought foreign made cars with the money ------ just before GM declared bankruptcy. LOL
*****
LOL hardly surprising, standard really and typical beurocratic idiots doing what they do best.
Ruining......
One of the best experiences for road trips, you don't get to tired
This is my type of car.
This is my type of car.
This is my type of car.
I don't understand why they can't make a nice car today
money and greed. They save in cheap alternatives to construct the cars and reap the same if not more money from buyers in their "new" cars
Nowadays every one seems to be more concerned about performance than luxury. A caddy doesn't need to be a BMW wanna be. It should be a Rolls-Royce wanna be lol
Cars are pretty much the same but safer
gees this reminds me of being a kid going every where in my grandpas caddys such nice comfy cars
My parents have this very car. They love it!
one of my favorite cadilacs of all time i so want one of these
those back seats look damn comfy! i wanna take a road trip in one of those!
YES!!! thank you kyle for that GREAT car! gotta love GMs b-bodys - i have one myself :)
This one is a beautiful one! 😍😍😍😍
Now that's a car and in great shape also. I sure miss my 1962 Coupe deville
I had years ago. Drove from Mass to Maryland was comfy all the way.
My Father just gave me a 1994 one with 128,000 miles I'm loving it
Hey Darren go poop yo pants
when you were doing other videos, i was hoping you were gonna do this!!!
This vehicle deserves place 8n my future collection.
Congrats on your success.. That's a first time I've heard something different in your videos...your opinion.. Thanks.
I know it's a long shot, been waiting 2 years, but do you think you can review some more Olds and possibly the Mazda MPVs. You haven't done one yet
That "Brougham" designation always made me laugh, the word gave me the idea the sort of sound someone would make when clearing his throat..."cough cough BROOOOUGHAAAM!!!"
as a 13 year old i love these cars! i like the engine as well so that i can carry my friends in this 4dr 'corvette' when i grow up~
You're 22 now bro 👍
Lol he's 22 now
@@elgeneralxx ha ha that's crazy!
my dad had a 94 Oldsmobile 98, which is very similar to this car, it was an amazing car totally loved it
My all time favorite sedan.
Most beautiful of cars built
LOL !
When you pressed the throttle with the Mufflers/Back view, everything flexed and moved, funny !
Brome with a lot of Crougham. Love the versatile center console!
I like rear wheel drive and I love the LT1 engine. easy to work on
Nice Video. Congratulations for your nice channel.
That Cadillac is amazing, I would like to ask you if that Cadillac is more confortable than a Mercedes E Class W210?
Thanks.
Beautiful!
Beautiful car!
I happen to drive a dang 2010 Toyota Corolla and I have driven a big Cadillac before and I loved it .
I love the last Generation Broughams for two additional level of equipment memory and heated seats and a CD player was more common with thease aswell with the 94-96 Roadmasters and Caprice Classics.
Nice looking car also the colours.
Such awesome cars.
@KLINGY94 I have a 96 Deville, I get told constantly that I drive a grandpa's car.... but I don't care, it has low mileage, was a good price, and yes, I bought it from my grand father haha. But its comfy, that's for sure!
I too like & prefer these types of cars vs modern computer on wheels. This is a beautiful Cadillac. 🙂👍
I have the same car and I love it!!
now THATS a true Cadillac
@xRAMxDOD Lol that is an awesome horn. I've only ever heard such horns in these older Cadillacs as well as Buick Roadmasters. That's it.
Sweet I love those caddies the 96
This thing is a beast!
I love American classics like that
It's clean as hell
OOH! Is a dash cover!!! Thank GOD I thought it was sun damaged! what a beautiful car
Very nice car !
You'll never see a Cadillac as a taxi-cab car, while Europe is full of Mercedes- Benz taxis, like in Germany, Austria, Blegium, etc, etc..
I live in Europe and I know 90 percent of the taxis are Mercedes 9 percent are fiatsand 1 percent is a Volkswagen
kyle i don't understand the point of the padded dash, what good does that do? great review by the way
engine looked super clean
Nice evaluation of one of the more attractive body styles of Cadillac's Fleetwood models. While it may lack the ultra-sophistication of Mercedes and other European brands in the area of refinement, i.e. alcantara headliners, higher quality materials, real veneer wood, less plastics; Cadillac still gave a lot of style. Unfortunately refinement means more expense which the 'bean-counters' seem to avoid in the name of making more profit. I still admire the American luxury cars such as this perhaps out of loyalty, wishing that the quality would be a bit better. Have to say the Cadillac C 6 has been hailed as a much more refined car, but the paradox is that its cost is way out of my league. Thanks for your video!
These cars are so cool.
Saw your review of the 1973 Fleetwood Brougham. Man!! What a difference between the 2!! The '73 was much more elegant, luxurious, posh and oozed Cadillac mystique. This model, well, looks like an upscale Olds or Buick. This was when G M was blending their lines, and the distinctness of their product suffered. Like other things in life, they just don't make 'em the way they used to, even in 1994.
my favourite cadillac ever
Love that style GM car. Would probably prefer a great restomod than a new one.
Very nice car!!!!
My grandpa's fav. car !!!
I want this car! Gonna go around my local dealers to look for one and trade in my truck for it :)
Beautiful car, I love these Fleetwoods. I've been asking for this video for awhile now as well as the W140 Mercedes you just uploaded. :)
Oh and BTW on my DeVille the turn signal indicators also show you if you have your hi beams on or not.
I have a 95 w140 merc and im about to buy a 95 lt1 fleetwood, what a coincidence
Very nice! I, to am a caddy guy. I would like to say well done video. I my self was not a fan of the Bro, but I now see why people were.
Officially a Antique as of this year!
Just bought one “non-running” for $700. Starts with starting fluid, I believe I’m one fuel pump replacement away from having a dirt cheap reliable daily.
@Captainskier my old VW golf used to have it on the indicator stick, but it seemed like this stick also had the wipers too....just seems alot for one little old stick to have to cope with!
My dad sold my Hyu last year 2021, and instead of With A Few Good Friends for 2023, replaced by Can't Get You Out Of My Head, the new 22 kicks just present
I’ll never not love a Cadillac
Breaks my heart. I just got a '93, and the motor is just plain asthmatic--accelerates like a four-cylinder economy car. I've got to get that thing running the way God intended, but I'm broke! One day, though, VROOM!
i remember 17 years ago thinking that Cadillacs from this time we so cool and modern. If i knew what was to come in 2011, I couldnt even imagine...
IM 15 And LOOOOVEE THIS CAR
awesome car.
I want one now.
it's luxurious as the previous 92 brougham
luxurious!
Nice BRO HAM
@bigb9854 The D-Body is a Cadillac Exclusive platform...the B Body is closely related but used for Chevy,Buick,Oldsmobile and Pontiac....both are also Full Size RWD Platforms.
Great car.
Most beautiful caddy ❤
What was that small radiator @5:35 on front of main radiator?
the HORN is so EPICCCCCCCCCCC.
