    I thought I would be able to make these myself, but obviously I'm going to be purchasing them from someone more capable. There are beautiful and would look amazing full of succulents.

    Do you think drilling some drain holes might be A consideration?

    How long do these last before the bark starts falling off? Until it rots out from the inside? Very cool looking.

      3 to 5 year's depending from what I understand. Not sure if he cut/drilled drainage holes, but it's supposed to help w/ longevity

    If you are just going to fill it with compost and not worried about cut lines inside then you can hollow these out in 4 cuts.

    Do you seal these after you make them to preserve them from rottening?

    Being a qualified chainsaw opperator, I am staggered by the lack of ppe this guy uses, please do not copy him especially using your knee to push the saw in just a pair of torn Jean's, this should be classified as how not to make a planter unless you live near a casualty dept.
