Insha’Allah i’ll get a grade 5 in foundation maths. i’m improving everyday and i believe that i’ll get the grade due to discipline and my positive mindset.
I'm currently working at a 2 or 3, been out of school for a long time and GCSEs are coming up way too soon. I think my main problem is lack of confidence but my mocks are soon so hopefully I will get a 4!
I got 3 I was one mark off to get a 4 I might recheck it but I was very close to getting a 4 at least I did better than last year I got 2 last year but oh well
You got this! Just read questions thoroughly, and at the end of the paper go back and retry the questions even if you are confident they are correct just to be sure!
A few common level 5 topics include: Simultaneous equations Creating and solving your own equations Factorising and solving quadratics Reverse Percentage increase/decrease Compound measures Bounds Maybe try and perfect these, as-well as any other topics you can think of. Lots of free resources online! Hope this helps
I'm currently working at a 3+/4- at maths foundation for maths and science. But due to my mental health struggles, I'm still at that level although I'm close to passing. My GCSE's are so soon like a month or 2 away. I'm hoping I get a 4 or a 5.
im currently working at a grade 3 and im so freaking upset about it, whenever i do past papers i really dont understand how that helps cause when i get the answers wrong i go like oh well and just move on, please help im in year 11 and i really struggle with maths
I think the best advice i can give you, when you notice you are getting the questions wrong on past papers, try to find out what topic they are from your teacher or other people in your class, and specifically look up and practice questions based on these. If you have any other questions please let me know!
I'm currently at a grade two in maths but I'm aiming to pass . I've tried going to after school clubs and I've tried past papers but sometimes the mark scheme isn't specific for foundation ocr but the cuestions in the back and the wordy ones mostly get me but I'm ready to do anything to pass, idk if past paper walkthroughs are effective for last minute revision tho, if you have any advice please help me 🙏💜

@@whoisamelia Hi, I do not understand the grades at all. I did my schooling from a different country and will give the Maths and English exams for the first time in college. Not a silly question at all! Some exam boards give marks back, but some don’t. Im not sure about individual papers but generally you may get overall marks (/240). If you google ‘AQA grade boundaries’ it will give you tables of all the boundaries needed to get each grade!
