Know it’s late but the horn frame and/or housing is the ground. That setup should be in a metallic casing, meaning you only need the center post and connect the ground to the body, or once installed it should be ground. You can check with a voltage meter to make sure it’s grounded. Good video for sure. My tall butt has got to get a tilt setup for my S2K. That’s one thing Honda could have done differently for sure.
pretty late and you might already have another solution but try adding the 2nd horn "shim" to act as a spacer? might give you just that extra bit of space for your wheel!
You want some help? Buy two quick release , one for the standard steering and one for the NRG , momo or any you know . So then if u meet ur parents change the standard one, after u have ur time change it back to momo’s . Just be carefull dont die accident enjoy the moment
The momo nsx horn button uses the ring around it as the ground and the prong is for power. I got one to work with my momo wheel and hub setup. Maybe you needed it fully hooked up for it to work?
Did you ever find a solution for the top of the wheel hitting the cluster shroud? I feel like I remember seeing an s2ki thread on this but I can't find it
Yeah works bell sells a hub spacer, you can attach it somewhere to get that extra room. Or like someone commented, add more horn shims to get a similar result
@@HighBeams these steering wheels lack a vital safety feature, airbag therefore most states want 2 ban these steering wheels for that specific safety reason.
Don't know why everyone puts a quick release on. About as pointless as it gets unless you have a rollcage. I get wanting to tinker with your car, but that's $400+ going into ricer knicknack fads instead of something that actually serves a purpose. Plus whatever the wheel costs. At least the tiny steering wheels old dudes put on their Bel Airs make sense cause they can't fit their enormous guts under the huge stock one.
@@tubbs2132 To each their own for sure! The top brands does get expensive for sure. I see it as an extra security measure if you can remove the wheel and for dedicated track cars it could be helpful. Otherwise, it can viewed as ricer knickknack fads lol. Good point about the Bel Airs haha

That’s a great idea! Could be the perfect clearance I need 👍
One major question I was looking to get a wheel, but I need an airbag because my parents don’t like no airbag

@@haikalmuhammaddanial5086 thanks
Yeah most aftermarket steering wheels you lose the airbag. You’d have to find a custom steering wheel for your car that allows airbags

After doing some research, you’re right! I’ll check mine and see if I got the ring. It does need to be all together, or I’ll swap horn housings 🙏🏾
Views are down but the energy is up keep pushing big dawg
Appreciate that! Algorithm been tough on the channel, but more to come always 💪🏾

Just tilt the steering wheel but do not release it and take the steering wheel with you?
Yes, that’s correct only tilt
So does the tilt also snap off to take the wheel with you?
Only tilt up with this new one, wheel is stuck on
lovely s2k
@@ocho7011 thank you!

Appreciated 🤞🏾
You really paid 4hunnid and some for that??
Less, gotta find good deals 💪
These steering wheels r illegal in California & New York.
Damn never knew. I still see people run it 🤔
@@HighBeams these steering wheels lack a vital safety feature, airbag therefore most states want 2 ban these steering wheels for that specific safety reason.
That makes sense safety first! Those states got a lot of people as well. Maybe only for track use
To be fair everything here in California is illegal
Still have em installed. Cops don't care where I live
