i highly recommend it if youve never had a knife with WE's blue stonewash. it is BEAUTIFUL in real life even videos dont do it justice. my all time favorite scale finish.

I have the purple aluminum Blade HQ Exclusive with S35VN. I feel like its a good in between. Got the skins for it too since its kind of slippery, the skins are pretty cool.
That’s awesome you finally got one! The Qubit is one of my favorite budget knives as well and the WE version looks like it’ll by far live up to the name. You got the exact version I’d want because I love WE’s blue stone washed handles; I have 3 already!
WE's blue stonewash is my absolute favorite finish. the way it subtly "sparkles" gives it a frosty look and that matte feeling the finish has feels so so so soft and grippy vs bead blast Ti

good color choice for the Civivi skin. I like it a lot. and it looks like Lynchnw has blue ano Elementum clips in stock, idk if they fit this but it looks like it.

I really really think u should check out the remette rhino. The newest one they have its a button liner lock and the detent is amazing. I'd really like to see what u think about it.
U can’t remove them but they fold up out of the way I haven’t had any issues sharpening mine. The action on it alone is worth any other inconvenience but I love the thumb studs they land in a super nice spot and there nice and big the front flipper is usable but not the best. The audible noise it makes because it’s a button liner lock is amazing I fidget with it more than any other knife I own
No it’s still a very good edc 14c28n steel and it’s a knife not a toy but still the action is so good it’s hard not to want to open and close it.
I got a WE Qubit and yes, the detent is super snappy, but mine doesn't lock up if I open it too hard. The knife jumps out of the lock in the open position, when I flick it maybe 3 out of 5 times. I'm hoping it will break in after a while and correct itself. It's just one of those things, every once in a while you get a knife that is missed during QC.
Interesting, mine doesn’t do that. Yeah might break in, if it doesn’t you could always send back
hows your qubit fairing? the few people ive seen mention this issue have said it breaks in and no longer is an issue. was that the case for you?
does yours still do this? from what i understand this can happen to a lot of button locks in general and usually will break in and stop happening after some use

It is very stiff yes. It will loosen up after a week or so

I just got the polished TI, my copy is kinda difficult to open compared to my other knives. Are these just naturally stiff to open? Not use to the stiff feeling, thanks
They’ve got real stiff detents, yeah. I love it, but it may be a little too stiff for some. Give it a few weeks and it’ll probably go wear in and become easier
I just received the polished TI as well. I absolutely can not open it with the thumb stud…detent is too tight. I contacted Deadwood Knives and they told me it was meant to be opened with the button lock…..LOL, wth is up with that? I applied some KPL and we shall see what happens.

Original is better. Can't change my mind. And the bottle opener is a great feature.
14c for 65$ is no great . Should be 85$ for S35vn. That would be a good deal. That’s the trick nowadays a really well built great action knife but less than meh steel. Now a great deal is S35vn for around 80-100 . I’m waiting and only buying knifes like that

This knife has the worst action I've ever experienced. It ruined my finger. It costs three times more than the Civivi version, it has better materials and worse action. I dont understand why manufacturers blast or put coating on the surfaces of the lock. When they don't do this - like on this cheaper Civivi model - it works like a charm.
i like how you think your singular unit of a knife is representative of all units of said knife. I also like how you give 0 explanation or context for why its "the worst action" or what "ruined my finger" even means. i have a the black one and the blue/satin both with very, very good and identical action lol. if something is wrong then exchange or return it. a radical thought i know
Random pro-tip for anyone needing a blue stonewash milled clip to match a blue stonewash WE knife with a NON-recessed pocket clip (WE Beacon, WE Culex, WE Elementum for example). Email WE customer service and say you bent your blue stonewash WE Qubit clip or simply ask for a blue stonewash WE Qubit clip. They'll send you one with screws for $10 even. Cheaper than buying a Civivi milled clip too. ($13) Don't need proof of purchase or anything.

Just ordered a blacked out one your review sold me after going back and forth for a while. the strong snappy detent sold me. Blue stonewash was sold out at WMK and most other places and not paying an extra $50 through ebay for blue, which is slightly devastating as all my WE's are in blue stonewash aside from the mini buster.
and oops i meant very very slightly longer. its like a fraction of an inch which is weird. i love them, but yeah they do some really weird stuff i dont quite understand with these WE versions of Civivis. Like making the WE elementum a flat grind vs the OGs hollow. or here the blade stock and length being slightly more. Though the WE praxis i will say has 0 compromises and is better in every way from thinner blade stock and better steel to the addition of thumb studs. Kaviso exclusive highly recommended if you've not checked out one before. cheers@@doodysdaggers
