Like you said that blade is useful. For the most part blades in Otf's usually aren't that useful in my opinion. Great looking knife. This may actually be my first otf. Never had the desire to own one. We'll see.
That looks great - reminds me of my Cypher II - I can’t wait for this as well as the new zero blade play Ultratech - it’s Christmas for OTF’s!!!!

I'm not in love with OTF knives after catching 4 stiches from one earlier this year. That said I like to support this company because of the shenanigans Anthony Marfione of Microtech pulled when these guys 1st came out. Douche of the highest order.

@doodysdaggers Well here's the thing. I'd just sharpened the old girl and for whatever reason I had my index finger over the deployment slot.....when I hit the button, feels bad lol. Was the night before my Dad's memorial service too, bad timing.

The handle looks like they were going to put in an insert or inlay where the rectangle indentation is sitting. Sounds like you mentioned that as well. Have you handled the Bear Ops 210 OTF? Great price I think I like it better than my Ultratech. But my edc is the Guardian Tactical scout. Step above microtech imo

It will be a banger if they offer different blades like they did on the original. That Wharncliffe is not really a good fit for an OTF (which are designed as rescue or self defense knives). Cheers!

Mine just arrived today. Unfortunately mine has more finish blems BLAND NEW than your week old used knife... Also am not very happy that the version I bought doesn't have the American flag on it. I'm pretty bummed. Oh well.

@@doodysdaggers Na. It functions fine. Its not just them. I have have had some kind of issue with most knives I have bought in the last few months. Even ones at more than twice this price. No issues with cheaper ones though LOL.
Ok so I just received mine and it has no mention of blade steel anywhere on the knife soooo WTF nothing on the box either.

@@doodysdaggers yup nothing not even the brand name... They said it was a oversight and forgot to laser etch it lmao. Said they hired new people and it was a oversight. Idk man I said how they inspecting knives before shipment and miss something that blatantly obvious. Not a good look IMO not exactly a budget knife we're talking about either. Now I gotta go ship it back to them.

@@greengobbler7756 Dude your a tool. I've got techs for years and never had a issue with them. They got people that are supposed to be inspecting the blades and people that I'd assume do one last quality check and every person that looked at the knife is either completely unqualified or completely incompetent. We're talking about a 240$ knife and something I noticed after looking at the blade for literally 1 second. Not to mention this is a low selling model as it's out of stock alot. How hard is it to look at what 70 knives that just got restocked. Then you got the audacity to talk about another brands quality control 😂

I was a 1000% never an OTF guy until I bought an Ultratech - Instill carry my large Inkosi but I also carry an Ultratech - these OTF’s lock up better than anything, are compact and you don’t even know your carrying them. These still may not be your deal but I was shocked!
