Rajiv Bhatia (Distinguished Fellow, Foreign Policy Studies Programme, Gateway House) for a panel discussion titled "Beyond BRICS: A New Era for the Global South? Perspectives from South Africa and India."
On the historic anniversary of the Bandung Conference, where the 10 commitments were presented 6 decades and 9 years ago, our esteemed panelists illuminated pathways toward a transformative era for the Global South, underscoring the enduring spirit of Bandung Solidarity. This event, held in the heart of rural Haryana, witnessed an overwhelming turnout, symbolizing the success of the Global South political project. As chairs filled up and conversations flowed, it was evident that the aspirations for a more inclusive and interconnected world were shared by all.
